5.00Penang was a beautiful city. Shawn was an excellent tour guide explaining in detail at the different stops we made. He took us to eat at a local restaurant and the food was super delicious! A true Malay dish. Penang hill and Kek Lok Si Temple are a must to see. Thank you for an excellent experience!

5.00It was a fantastic day with our guide Ernest Loh who first took us to an Indian restaurant where we got to try Indian snacks, very good. Went on to Kek Lok Si Temple. There we learned about the history of the building and Taoist and Buddhist rituals. On to different residential areas and finished down a 1.5 hour visit to Butterfly eco garden, fantastic. Ernest Loh was a very knowledgeable, experienced and nice guide. Unfortunately Penang hill was closed for maintenance, so we could not visit.

5.00Our guide and driver, Timothy, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the various religious, cultural, and historical aspects of Penang island. We were picked up at the cruise terminal and dropped off there after 6 hours of showing us around. He took us to a restaurant that locals frequent, not many tourists, for an authentic Malaysian lunch. It was great.

5.00We went to all the places we wanted to see plus the different types of socio-economic housing and a stop at an Indian restaurant for a white coffee and naan. He had lots of interesting facts. He drives a van so it was easy to get into and out of at stops. Easy to understand, excellent English. I would rate him 7 stars if I could.
