5.00Ebrahim was amazing, a wealth of knowledge regarding the country and its inhabitants. First, he was on time, very polite and friendly and outlined our travel plans for the day. His car was clean and roomy. This was truly a private tour with just my wife and I. We were not rushed and were able to move at our own pace. We learned about the country, the people, the religions, the economy, the architecture and so much more. Who knew that falcons have their own passports? 6 hours seems like a long time for a tour, yet it went quickly and we learned so much about Qatar. We took a short break to get a bite to eat, then started the second part. Plenty of photo ops, visits to shopping and dining area and a view of the real estate market, like we were planning on buying a home today. Very tempting, though. I have to give Ebrahim a 6/5 rating for such an amazing experience. Thank you 🙏🏻

5.00Our tour guide, Saurabh, picked us up at our hotel. He was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide and gave us a ton of history as he safely drove us from location to location. We spent the morning in “old” Qatar. Our first stop was the National Museum of Qatar. Our next stop was at a fish market near the cruise terminal. We also walked around the Moroccan inspired village built to support the cruise passengers. Then on to the I.M. Pei (designer of the Louvre) designed Museum of Islamic Art. After the museum we went to a traditional Arabic market, souvenirs, spices, chocolates, etc. We drove around “new” Doha which includes the business/financial center and hotels. Katara Cultural Village was next followed by Pearl Island was up next. We stopped for a traditional Arabic grill lunch on Pearl Island and then stopped by the Canal quarter. After that we went to Gewan island and walked on the crystal walk way. Our last stop on our tour was Lusail, also known as FIFA village. Saurabh did a great job of giving us a great tour of Doha as well as relevant history. We really enjoyed our tour and day spent with him. And, he takes great photos!

5.00Really enjoyed this private tour that also allowed for personalization. The tour guide clearly outlined the itinerary and provided great cultural details. I felt that I learned about how Qatar has built up over the last dozen years. I loved the Souq most of all as it is the oldest part of the city.
