See Auckland's wild side on this half-day tour from Auckland. Visit the iconic Mt Eden volcano before travelling to Piha Beach. 5.00We had a fantastic day with our guide, Harriet. She gave us so much insight into Auckland and the history of the city as well as the importance of native species to New Zealand. Each stop was well worth the visit and I’d happily recommend this tour to friends visiting Auckland.

5.00Maddie was the tour guide for this tour. She was a great source of local information. She took us to some really beautiful sites and had a lot of patience with my slow walking and many questions. The beach, waterfall and Mt Eden were spectacularly beautiful and I really appreciate being able to see them on my one day in Auckland. The wine tasting venue was lovely and the lunch was just perfect. I very much enjoyed the day with Maddie and the small group we had.

5.00Very worthwhile. Guide/Driver Harriet was very friendly and informative. Some uphill walking but nothing that demanding. Great opportunity to go outside the city and explore nature.

5.00The tour provided a great experience with a small group tour. we were able to walk through the Mount Eden volcano site led by our tour guide who provided interesting fact about the volcano. We enjoyed a walk to the Piha Beach of black sand and explored the short hike to majestic Karekare falls. Beautiful! Our tour ended with a tasty lunch at Soljans Estate Winery where we had an opportunity to taste wine and do a bit of shopping. We found the wine tasting to be less informative or enjoyable than others we had experienced as people were crowded at the bar getting their wine, making it difficult to hear what wine was being served and it's information.

5.00This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide Maddie was very knowledgeable. Was picked up on time however we were the only couple on the tour. Which to us was well worth it. Felt like a personal tour felt kind of lucky. Didn’t need to wait around for anyone. She took pictures of us which turned out really nice. Mt Eden the scenic view was beautiful along with Piha Beach. Although we didn’t get to see the water fall because it was closed off she took us to another trail which was really nice. The wine tasting was also good we had lunch there. The food I must say was amazing. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Also thank you Maddie for a wonderful time.

5.00We toured Karekare Falls with Harriet. She was knowledgeable, most gracious and accommodating. We came across a road closure and she immediately detoured and got us there anyway. Beautiful site to see!!!

5.00Thankyou so much to your business! Maddie is an absolutely wonderful guide and very safe driver. I had the best day. I was very impressed by this business that they still held my tour even though I was the only participant. I wasn’t left disappointed because I was the only booking for the day to have it cancelled. It still went ahead. I sincerely appreciate this gesture. Thankyou! Often as a solo traveller we get forgotten about. Maddy went out of her way to ensure that I was having a great time and took heaps of photos for me. I was feeling a little car sick on the way to Piha beach with the windy roads and she was so understanding. I really had a wonderful day and so many fantastic memories! Highly recommend this tour and company.
