A moderate amount of walking is involved, you will need to bring a 1.5L water bottle to complete the walks and stay hydrated
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately as temperatures in Western Australia can be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 50 degrees Celsius in summer and can get below zero overnight in winter. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the times of your visit and have packed adequate clothing.
A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel).
The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
Children aged between 6 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.

Kick off your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert before enjoying lunch by the sea then journey up Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views. Walking distance approx.1.5km.

Then it’s on to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.

Hike down to the banks of the Murchison River to marvel at the Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend. Located in the heart of Kalbarri National Park, where water has carved its way through sandstone. Here you have the option to try abseiling (additional cost). Walking distance approx. Check out the fantastic views from Kalbarri Skywalk.
Nature’s Window
Peek through Nature’s Window into an ancient gorge and capture a spectacular photo of the views across Kalbarri National Park.
Shell Beach
Before taking a strolling on a beach made entirely of tiny shells.
Monkey Mia
A visit to the World Heritage Listed region of Shark Bay will leave you in awe of the beauty of nature. Then it’s on to Monkey Mia for our accommodation by the beach.

This morning witness the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins playing just off the shore and don't forget your camera. Enjoy chill out time on the beach here or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before we get back on the road mid-morning.
Hamelin Pool
We’ll visit the fascinating and world’s oldest living fossils, the Stromatolites also known as the lungs of the ocean.
Coral Bay
Stay overnight in Coral Bay, a town right by the beach which boasts coral so close to shore you can swim out to view it. Or join a tour in search of whale sharks or manta rays.

You’ll have most of the day to explore the Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s largest Fringe reef, at your own leisure. Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches Coral Bay has to offer.
Ningaloo Reef
Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost), or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore. This evening we take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into our accommodation for two nights in the town centre.

We follow the road as far north as Exmouth Cape, a place where rugged mountains flow almost down to the sea.
Vlamingh Head Lighthouse
Stand atop Vlamingh Head at the lighthouse for views over the reef and ranges. In spring, you may even spot the migrating humpback whales go by. Walking distance approx. 1km.
Cape Range National Park
Today choose to do another boat tour and swim with Whale Sharks (seasonal) or explore Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches.
Turquoise Bay
Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire available)
Exmouth to Geraldton

5.00I recently did the West Coast adventure from Perth to Monkey Mia and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned – we covered incredible locations including the Pinnacle Desert, Murchison Gorges, Kalbarri National Park, Shark Bay and Shell Beach. Every stop offered something unique, and the balance between travel, exploration and downtime was spot on. A big credit goes to Geoffrey. He managed the trip professionally, kept everything organised, and created a relaxed and positive environment for the group. You can see he genuinely cares about the experience for everyone, not just running a tour. Overall, this trip exceeded expectations. It was a great reset, a chance to experience some of the best of Western Australia, and something I would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

5.00Great trip and a great way to see the west coast without having to drive it all on your own! Went as a solo 23y/o and had such a great time. Different ages and different groups (couples, mum and son, solo). We only made it as far as Monkey Mia due to the impact of the cyclone, however refunds are (hopefully) on the way back for trips and the rest of the time. Despite the trip getting cut short, it really was great and our guide, Geoff was also amazing at telling us important information but also leaving us to it! Couldn’t recommend enough :)

4.00I had a great trip to monkey Mia as we didn’t make it to Exmouth due to cyclone Narelle. This is my first solo trip and I loved it … making great memories and friends along the way. Geoff was great and made the experience even better. He was very accommodating throughout the day and was a great laugh! Can’t recommend enough.

5.00This was the most inspiring adventure we’ve ever been on. From the moment that Geoff picked us up and throughout the whole trip he was the most engaging and knowledgeable guide that you could wish for. Fun, full of information, attentive to everyone’s individual needs and a genuinely nice guy! Every day had its own individual highlights from The Pinnacles to Natures window to swimming with Manta Rays (which we highly recommend especially if you’re not sure and Geoff’s reassurance made sure my mum didn’t miss out) you get to see what the West Coast is all about. However, the trip with Geoff was so much more than advertised, Geoff’s passion bought so much more to the party. from taking the group to ethically explore turtles nesting and hatching (extra shoutout to Gus for also going above and beyond to ensure we didn’t miss this either), to photo opportunities that he didn’t want us to miss. Making our trip so unique and unforgettable! Snorkelling with the Manta Rays was top of our list and we couldn’t recommend Coral Bay Eco Tours enough, who provided such an epic and safe day out. Finally, we chose private accommodation and we weren’t disappointed. If you’re thinking of this option and want to steer away from Hostels definitely go with this option. This was an adventure we will never forget and we can’t thank Autopia tours and Geoff enough 🙌🏻

5.00Geoff was absolutely incredible. He made memories that will last a lifetime, you can clearly see his passion for his job and the west coast which rubs off on the travellers. We got to see so many incredible wildlife and experiences (the hatching baby turtles were my favourite) and I couldn’t recommend this enough. There are some long travel days, but as the West coast is so vast, this was expected. I wish I could live it all again, thank you Geoff <3

Geoff is a tour guide who has taken the whole adventure to another level through his great presence and feeling for nature, moments and people around him. 5.00I came on this trip pretty unsure about how I would find it, being solo I thought I might feel a bit lonely. From the first hour the people on the trip turned into family and we had the most amazing time together. Geoff our guide was so inspirational, caring, kind, informative and tended to absolutely everything for us on the whole trip. He really is a treasure and a credit to the company. The trip wouldn’t have been so special without him. He went above and beyond and made sure the trip catered to everyone. All ages and personalities. The stops were all beautiful and exciting, I’ve learned so much and made friendships for life, I would definitely recommend to anyone debating the trip, wether it be solo, couples, families or friends.
