A moderate amount of walking is involved, you will need to bring a 1.5L water bottle to complete the walks and stay hydrated
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately as temperatures in Western Australia can be extreme. It is not unheard of for temperatures to reach over 50 degrees Celsius in summer and can get below zero overnight in winter. Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the times of your visit and have packed adequate clothing.
A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor's certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel).
The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
Children aged between 6 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.

The Pinnacles
Kick off your adventure with a guided tour through the Pinnacles Desert before enjoying lunch by the sea then journey up Indian Ocean Drive for some stunning coastal views. Walking distance approx.1.5km.
Kalbarri
Then it’s on to the seaside town of Kalbarri for our overnight accommodation.

Hike down to the banks of the Murchison River to marvel at the Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend. Located in the heart of Kalbarri National Park, where water has carved its way through sandstone. Here you have the option to try abseiling (additional cost). Walking distance approx. Check out the fantastic views from Kalbarri Skywalk.
Nature’s Window
Peek through Nature’s Window into an ancient gorge and capture a spectacular photo of the views across Kalbarri National Park.
Shell Beach
Before taking a strolling on a beach made entirely of tiny shells.
Monkey Mia
A visit to the World Heritage Listed region of Shark Bay will leave you in awe of the beauty of nature. Then it’s on to Monkey Mia for our accommodation by the beach.

This morning witness the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins playing just off the shore and don't forget your camera. Enjoy chill out time on the beach here or enjoy a coffee at the restaurant before we get back on the road mid-morning.
Hamelin Pool
We’ll visit the fascinating and world’s oldest living fossils, the Stromatolites also known as the lungs of the ocean.
Coral Bay
Stay overnight in Coral Bay, a town right by the beach which boasts coral so close to shore you can swim out to view it. Or join a tour in search of whale sharks or manta rays.

You’ll have most of the day to explore the Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s largest Fringe reef, at your own leisure. Choose to join a boat tour or enjoy free time to experience the beautiful beaches Coral Bay has to offer.
Ningaloo Reef
Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays (additional cost), or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only metres from shore. This evening we take the short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and check into our accommodation for two nights in the town centre.

We follow the road as far north as Exmouth Cape, a place where rugged mountains flow almost down to the sea.
Vlamingh Head Lighthouse
Stand atop Vlamingh Head at the lighthouse for views over the reef and ranges. In spring, you may even spot the migrating humpback whales go by. Walking distance approx. 1km.
Cape Range National Park
Today choose to do another boat tour and swim with Whale Sharks (seasonal) or explore Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches.
Turquoise Bay
Relax on the beach or choose to go snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire available)
Exmouth to Geraldton

4.00Great experience and awesome way to see Western Australia! I had Adam as a tour guide and he went above and beyond to give the group the best of WA! I was definitely nervous to go on this tour alone but most of the travellers go solo and are super friendly so it’s a great way to meet like minded people. You will see a lot on this trip but there will also be a lot of time on the bus driving so be prepared for that. Overall an awesome trip, with an amazing group and guide!
Gwoonwardu Mia was amazing! Recommend the trip, but two guides would make it feel safer.

4.00Good + Beautiful locations! + Guide: Adam went above and beyond to accommodate the group + Cultural Centre in Carnarvon (Gwoonwardu Mia): one of the best Aboriginal Heritage cultural centres we’ve experienced! Well worth visiting; you'll need more than an hour. + Nicely planned with toilet breaks and leg stretches on long drives Things to change: - Felt unsafe with only one guide/driver. He had very long workdays. Two drivers are needed to swap and help each other with guiding and food prep. - Portion sizes. Too small. Not enough food for a regular portion per person for lunch or dinner over several days. - Rushed meals. Would have loved to spend more time eating and socialising with others on the trip. Personal improvement tips - Small things that don’t cost anything but make a huge difference: - Personal preference: would have liked to learn more about the history/culture/nature at each stop. Maybe not everybody’s cup of tea, but it would have greatly enhanced our experience. - Encourage socialising with one another. No need to overdo it, but helping with icebreakers to set the tone for the week would be nice. For example, when joining the bus on the first day, pass the mic around and let everyone answer three questions (name, why are you on this trip, expectations for what to experience on the trip). Encourage swapping places on the bus to speak with other travellers.

5.00We were lucky enough to have Beth as our tour guide, and she truly made the experience special. 💫 She is so kind, caring, and easy to talk to. She knows a lot and shared it in a fun and relaxed way. We did so many great things together and made memories we will never forget. 5.00I had such an incredible time on this trip seeing amazing wildlife, beaches and other sights across the week. We were a group of ~20 and had such a blast experiencing this together. A huge thank you to our incredible tour guides, Geoff and Adam, for going above and beyond! Geoff was such an enthusiastic and friendly leader who clearly loves shaping the best possible experience for all there. In particular thank you for the hidden gems you showed us (which I won't spoil for others considering this trip) that made it really special, as well as sharing your knowledge of indigenous culture with us. Adam was also fantastic - I loved his passion for the natural world in how he spoke about the areas we travelled through and the wildlife we spotted. And his star constellation knowledge! If you want to see some beautiful and rugged parts of Western Australia, you're in safe hands with either of these guides.

5.00Western Australia is not visited by many people, but more really should visit. What an amazing tour we had! Autopia took us to all the greatest sites, and even some extra ones not in the itinerary to enhance our experience. There is a lot of driving as the tour stretches from Perth to Exmouth and then back again, but the scenery was very interesting where it was so different from anything I had seen before, and the tour guide gave us lots of stops to stretch and grab snacks. Our guide Geoff was truly extraordinary. The best of the best! Kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. He made sure we were well taken care of. Thanks Geoff!!
