5.00I did a 2 week TaiChi & QiGong course with Ping. I really enjoyed my stay and training FangYuan TaiChi Centre so much so I will come back later in the year. as to be expected when training in Asia there can alway be slight language barriers but these were overcome easily. the accommodation is comfortable and the food service nurishing.

Before booking here, I was unsure between other centers, but ultimately I chose this one and can say it was the best decision, because you get exactly what you pay for. Great accommodation, a super friendly team, and you learn a lot in a short time. After this visit, I've decided to come more often. Thank you so much for the wonderful time.

5.00I had a wonderful week here learning tai chi and qigong. The lessons are tailored to your level and designed to give you lots of experience in a short time. The center is lovely, complete with house cat and bunny. It’s near an interesting village and a short hike. My only regret is that I didn’t book a second week!

5.00I had a wonderful experience overall and will definitely go again to further my Qigong and TaiChi. Master Ping is very good at explaining what we’re doing and why for each form of Qigong & TaiChi. GuiPing is very thoughtful and created many events for us to enjoy in the evenings after practice and dinner. I was never bored and found the place very peaceful.

5.00We had a remarkable experience on this program. Thank you to Master Ping who is a passionate and inspiring teacher. He shared his immense skills with such , grace, clarity and humility , it was a pleasure to be his student . These qualities were spread out to everyone working at the centre. The food was varied and delicious , help was always available and the accommodation was excellent . It felt like being with a well organised , warm and generous family .I think we fell in love with China. We will go back to learn more .

5.00Excellent accommodation, the course was well thought of and from a very competent and experienced “Mastah”. The food was really good and the hosts were very generous. Five star retreat but other than Taichi, I managed to do biking and hiking near the center too. Im going back someday.

5.00My stay at FangYuan TaiChi Centre was one of a kind. I wanted to take a retreat to learn TaiChi that where I could learn not only the technique but the philosophy behind it and Master Ping exceeded my expectations. For a 7 day retreat I felt like the schedule was very complete, with classes in the morning and afternoon. Master Ping excels as a teacher and is able to explain things in a way even a person with no experience at all is able to understand. I also liked that he introduced us to the philosophy behind TaiChi and the reason behind each movement, which helps a lot when learning the positions. Getting to the retreat was quite easy, I took a train from Hong Kong and was met by a driver at the station who took me to the centre. The place itself is beautiful, located in a secluded area surrounded by vegetation which makes it very peaceful. I stayed in one of the superior rooms and it was just perfect: the decoration was tasteful, the space large and there was a huge window overlooking the forest and I stayed hours just looking at it. It also offered tea and a nespresso machine which was very convenient. Master Ping and his family made me feel welcome and were attentive, even doing follow ups after I finished the course and went back home. I highly recommend attending FangYuan Centre, no matter what level of knowledge you have on TaiChi practice, you will have a great time!!!

5.00This was my second stay here and the first for my partner. Once agin it was a wonderful experience. The training, accommodation, food and welcome was amazing. It is not the cheapest of Tai Chi course in China, but you are pampered and everyone agreed it was great value for what you get. Everything is well thought out. It was actually a full house, with a mixture of ages, genders and nationalties and we laughed a lot and got on well. Qigong and Tai Chi are not just for old people ...loll! The Ping family and staff have a real sense of hospitality and go out of their way to ensure everyone feels at home. Classes are well structured and suited everyone with our different levels of knowledge and experience. This time I was only able to stay a week, it was good, but two weeks or more is better. Will defiantly be back!
