1.00The transfer from the cruise port was easy and the transportation comfortable. We were returning from a cruise and the driver was able to accommodate our luggage while we did the tour and then take us to our next destination. The transfer and the driver, Igor, was the best part of this experience even though he spoke no English. Once we arrived in the Venice port we were told by the tour guide that she just found out an hour prior that we would be joining and we had to wait for another group of 80 people. Half hour later we were finally on our way. The tour began on the transfer boat to save time we were told. We received roughly an hour and a half of a walking tour and then we were told that we could have free time and meet back at the port area. Except my family was informed we had to pay to make our way back to our transportation because he was leaving earlier. Luckily Igor had no problem waiting, why this wasn’t communicated with him directly is beyond me. Now it’s time to get back on the boat and our guide has abandoned us to give other tours! We paid roughly 220pp and not only was communication from the touring company to the tour guide company extremely poor but the tour itself was much shorter than the 7 hours! We didn’t gain entrance into anything! We were very disappointed.
