Along the way you are likely to see many birds such as parrots, Kiskadees, herons as well experience the sights and smells of the many trees that adorn the fields. Once you have enjoyed your farm ride you will bid farewell to your lovely steed and join us for a short drive to Xunantunich Maya site for you guided tour. small group tours.

After your farm ride you will join us for a short drive to Xunantunich Maya site where our guide will take you exploring & climbing the mayan site. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to show you some of the unique places of Xunantunich and you will enjoy the beautiful landscape from the top of some of the mayan structures.

5.00Wonderful experience for the price! The Wranglers are top notch, extremely knowledgeable. If you have never ridden a horse before, this is the perfect place to start! They match each horse to the person’s size, age, weight and experience. The scenery riding to the ruins is peaceful, beautiful, full of wildlife and easy. Even the owner walked alongside us, the entire time, giving us valuable information about what we were seeing. Once we arrived at the Ruins, we had her as our licensed tour guide. She is Mayan and is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Mayan people! Highly recommend this tour!

5.00This experience was definitely a highlight of our trip to Belize. Carla, our guide was wonderful in showing my kids how to ride and she was ver knowledgeable. She share information about the site in a way that was very relatable to all of us. I highly recommend their services. Carla was able to draw my introverted son out to ask questions and she made my daughter who is not the biggest animal person throughly enjoy the experience.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with St. Leonard's Easy to find. We arrived before the others in our party and were met by Rod and Mark- who spent 20 minutes or so entertaining and informing the four of us in our family (16 year old and 14 year old). They were very kind and we learned a lot. When everyone else arrived, we were given horses commensurate with our abilities, helmets and lots of water! The 8 riders were accompanied by 3 guides- so we were always safe and entertained. Other than me, no one else in my family had experience with horses and my wife was apprehensive. At the end of the tour, my family was so happy with the horses and the experience, way beyond our expectations. The tour at Xunatunich was excellent- Carla was very informative. She took good care of all of us, making sure we were always resupplied with water. We didn't get to see any monkeys- but they had been in the area. I would say, a great ride if you are looking for a safe, easy ride to the ruins. The horses look to be in great shape and are well cared for. Choose a different tour if you are into a bigger riding experience. The Xunatunich tour was excellent.

5.00Excellent experience! Good horses, knowledgeable fun guides. Our kids are 5.5 and 8 yrs old loved it! they provided helmets. Hand cranked ferry was a fun bonus. Highly recommend!

5.00We had the best horse back riding tour with Jose!! I would do it again in a heart beat. A beautiful trail along the river, to a small hand cranked ferry that you get to cross with the horses. And then after a beautiful ride, you get to walk through the Xunantunich ruins! Jose was a great guide on all fronts and had great horsemanship as well. You are in good hands! Highly recommend this tour, it was my favorite!

5.00We did the farm ride and it was perfect for beginners and intermediate riders. The hike to see the Mayans ruins was hell but I would have rather do it on foot than go by horseback… THE VIEW WAS WORTH IT!
