This private day tour will let you explore Dinghu Mountain, known as the first nature preserve in China, which is 1.5 hours driving from Guangzhou. The tour incorporates both driving and walking, for sightseeing as well as trying some local food(for example the local specialty 裹蒸粽 , sticky rice with bean, pork. etc).

Rated as the National 5A attraction, Dinghu Mountain is one of the four "Most Renowned Mountains" in Guangdong Province, with waterfalls, dense forest, adventure tracks as well as ancient buddhist temple. Take the scenic spot car (offered by the tourists management center there) going up and down the mountain and explore the core area walking on foot to experience the "natural oxygen bar". The sky lake reservoir on top of the mountain provides super clean spring water which supply to major cities like Guangzhou. Visitors could take the boat ride on the beautiful Dinghu Lake in the mountain to visit butterfly valley, explore and hike among the primitive forest landscape.

My daughter and I had a great time with our tour guide and translator Damon. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Guangdong province and even knew some ecological facts about the nature preserve. Dinghu Mountain was breathtaking with landscapes that inspire art and a beautiful Buddhist temple. We got some exercise climbing up the mountain but could've easily explored via the shuttle. Damon guided us expertly around the area, and then took us back to Guangzhou where he introduced us to a local dim sum tea house. There we had some of the best food we've tried since arriving in China. Highly recommend this tour!

My mother and I had a fantastic time on this tour! Our tour guide and translator Damon was a great communicator beforehand, arrived promptly, and was extremely accommodating. He kept us well-entertained over the 1.5 hour drive with his knowledge of local history and culture. While we chose to walk up the mountain for some extra exercise, the amount of physical activity is negotiable due to a shuttle. We were truly in awe of the natural beauty of the nature reserve and the Buddhist temple that sits on the mountain side. And to wrap up a wonderful trip Damon took us to a dim sum tea house frequented by Guangzhou locals for some of the most delicious food we’ve had during our visit. 10/10!

My girlfriend & I enjoyed the day immensely from start to finish. Guanzhua Local Tours is EXCELLENT! 10 OUT OF 10! Very good English & very knowledgeable. We were very, very impressed.
