  It's been two weeks since my 9 day Kenya Safari and reflecting on the experience has been a bit surreal. Martin was our tour guide for the entire time and I can only describe him as being amazing. He made the tour even more magical with having him as our guide. He's knowledgable, kind and patient. His insights to the Kenya life are something that I will always remember....it's not only the beauty and the wildlife that one is lucky enough to capture but the essence of the people that he shared is one gift that will stay with me forever. We saw everything that one could imagine...the Big Five more than once, in fact. Can I figure out a way to go back? I hope so, if Martin can by my guide!

  

  

  

  

  

• Out of this world and faultless

  My partner and I have just returned from a 9 day safari trip round Kenya starting and finishing in Nairobi. We have done several safari's in Africa, but this trip was truly the best. Gracepatt Ecotours are faultless, and our driver and guide (Stephen) of 9 days soon became our friend. Everything was about the customer, you were never under pressure or in a rush. Stephen made sure this trip was about us. Everything was organised to the finest detail including great driving, excellent and diverse range of accomodation, plenty of delicious food, and every morning when we returned to the van it was spotless. Stephen had better eyesight than the giraffes and by the end of the trip we called him the Big6! We saw it all. He knew the animals, birds and wildlife really well, and took his time to explain things to us. The van also hand electricity which was great when you need extra power for the million of photos you take! Thanks again Stephen and Gracepatt Ecotours Kenya. We look forward to the next time. • Magical and Unforgettable

  I have just returned to Texas after an incredible vacation in Kenya. My sister in-law spent months working with Grace in the hopes of planning a perfect family vacation and boy did they deliver. Our little group of 8 was aged between 15 and 55 and came from Canada (Montreal and Toronto), France (Paris) and the US (Texas) and we all met in Nairobi. Gracepatt Associates met each part of our group at the airport and transferred to our hotel promptly and courteously. We met our Safari guide-driver and now friend Stephen the next morning. It is hard to appropriately describe the 9 days that followed, Kenya is incredibly beautiful, the wildlife abundant, the landscape is breathtaking, and the kindness and joy of the Kenyans is contagious. Stephen was knowledgeable, respectful, kind and funny. He was always on time, with a vehicle that magically cleaned overnight, every night. He thought us how to appreciate wildlife, was incredible at identifying species at great distances and willing to share Kenya's rich heritage with us and patient with our never ending stream of questions. The lodges and parks were varied and each brought us new appreciation for the incredible diversity Kenya has to offer. The food was excellent, fruit and vegetables were abundant and the variety satisfied everyone in our group. As can be expected with long journeys on remote roads, Stephen mechanical skills were put to the test a few times during our journey and each time he handled it with ease, confidence and knowledge that left us in awe of his well rounded skill set. Hakuna Matata indeed. When members of our group forgot important personal items behind at one of the Safari lodge Grace seamlessly secured the items, retrieved them herself and met us the following day with the precious cargo. We all had the privilege to meet Grace and Pat in person and what a delight is was. They were instrumental in putting together a memorable vacation and were personally involved in making sure everything went smoothly, meeting them was one of the many highlights of our trip. I can safely say that Kenya left a permanent brand on all of our souls and we will each spend the rest of our lives telling everyone we meet : "You must go to Kenya - talk to Grace and Pat, see if Stephen is available".
