Are you craving a historical adventure in Barbados? Do you love hearing stories? Well, we’d love to tell YOU our historical stories by taking you back in time during a two hour walking tour. The journey is fully infused with the mingle of our ancestors and the soft whispers of our buildings. You will hardly notice the passage of time as we explore exciting sites all the way from Our Father of Independence to the “Bridge”.
This tour has 8 main stops and 8 optional stops.
Come witness the last remnants of a Screwdock in the world and explore a wealth of the commercial and religious spaces of our beloved Bridgetown. A little snack helps pass the time as you get a nibble of the sweetness that makes us the people known as Barbadians. This tour is ideal for;

The start point is the Errol Barrow Statute in Independence Square. The tour guide will meet you there.
There are 8 main stops. Independence Square to the Jewish Historical District. Your tour can end here, or you can opt for the bonus 8 more stops from James Street, back to Independence Square
Bridgetown can be closed on holidays and Sundays. Check the current opening times of Bridgetown, if that is important for you, while choosing your days.

4.00Nice day out around the town. Pleasant stroll around old part of the town where you see old colonial buildings and community life. Visiting the Parliament building was very interesting. Prepare to engage with friendly locals who fistbump everyone. The Caribbean drums music band during lunchtime was very good. Tour guide could be a bit more cheerful, he sounded as if he was having an argument with his mother in law whenever someone asked him something.

5.00I liked the tour very much. Radavie was a extremely valuable guide. On top of the dates and complementary information of every spot of the route. I like the feeling of belonging to Barbados and its history. I recommend a lot the tour and its bright tour guide.

5.00Zachary was an incredibly knowledgable guide. We absolutely loved the walking tour and felt like we really got to know more about the history not only of the city, but also of Barbados. We always feel you cannot visit a place without knowing the history of where you're going and this tour helped us achieve just that! Would absolutely recommend. We went on a Sunday, but to get the full Bridgetown experience, we would recommend going Mon-Sat, as the city sees Sunday as a day of rest (rightly so), so we weren't able to go into certain spots or see the city in it's full bustling nature. It was still a fantastic experience regardless though!

5.00This was a great tour, but it is a lot of walking, a little over 2 miles. Some of the terrain is uneven. This is not for the mobility challenged. The Tour guide was very knowledgeable.

5.00We went on the tour on December 29th - unfortunately I don’t remember the name of our guide but he was a really lovely, knowledgeable young man who did a great job of showing us around and telling us all about the history of Bridgetown. He was a credit to your company and made it a very enjoyable few hours.

5.00Be advised that this is a 10 minute taxi ride from the cruise ship. Also, they are not holding signs that makes them easily identifiable. This was a great tour and our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable. It was a lot of walking and even though it was very hot, we had a great time. Be sure to bring sunscreen!
