2. Walking around Abu Kheyal Park: Take a peaceful stroll through lush greenery and panoramic mountain views, perfect for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

3. Exploring Shamsan Ottoman Castle: Explore the fascinating remnants of Ottoman-era architecture, offering a glimpse into the region’s storied past.

4. Shop Like a Local at the Tuesday Bazaar (Open all week).

5. Discover Fatima Museum (Museum of home decoration and southern women's clothes).

Al Habala

AlHabala is a small mountain village in the Asir Region of Saudi Arabia. It can be reached by car from Abha within one hour. It is located in a valley almost 300 meters below the peak of the front mountain.

Located on King Abdulaziz Road, feels like walking through vast green fields that seem to extend beyond the horizon. During springtime, the purple Jacaranda leaves captivate the hearts and camera lenses of the park visitors who are fascinated by the chirping of the birds, the many water ponds all over the park, and occasionally, rain showers.

Fantastic trip through Abha and the surrounding villages demonstrating a bit different Saudi landscape than seen around Riyadh or Jeddah. The tour was fantastic. Mohammed was a brilliant guide and made the day wonderful for us. We even enjoyed the rain! I would urge Viator to reconsider their policy of insisting two people have to pay the price of three.

The logistics and team’s preparation of the whole trip is excellent. Safety is felt throughout the whole trip. Whereas the scenery until you reach the destination is beautiful. Highly recommend for whoever wants to reconnect with nature, kind people and peace. Noting the different terrains of Abha throughout the whole trip is mesmerizing Highly recommended, would visit again
