In the morning, after breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you to " Abhaneri - Chand Baori ". This place is known for the amazing 'Boris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple.
Chand Baori
The place is popular for the amazing 'Boris' (step wells). The village of Abhaneri is believed to be established by the King Raja Chand. Originally Abhaneri was named as Abha Nagri, which means the city of brightness, but due to the mispronunciation of the term, it is changed to the present name. Step wells are the unique concept of India. These big tanks were used as cool places of resort and water reservoir in parched days. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet at the well before visiting the temple. The temple was razed during the 10th century, but its remains still boast architectural and sculptural styles of ancient India.

5.00The Abhaneri stepwell is beautiful if you like domestic architecture, it’s an interesting piece in the middle of nowhere. I think the light would be better in the afternoon, but if you go in the morning try to leave early to beat the crowd (arrive before 10.30). The monkey temple is unusual, but a sight for graceful architecture and lots of monkeys! Good value for money from Rajasthan Incredible Tours, with pick-up at your convenience even out of town

5.00Rajasthan Incredible Tours was recommended to us by our host Unsa at the Art Ghar in Jaipur and we are glad she did. The trip to Chand Baori was super smooth. Sadiq is professional, friendly and very easy to talk to. He's a careful driver, which made us always feel safe and comfortable during the drive. We booked him again for a second service before leaving the city. Absolutely recommended!

5.00We had a great tour of Chand Baori with Sameer. He took us to the Galta Ji temple early in the morning, which meant that it was basically just us and the monkeys there. The drive to Chand Baori was nice, the car was clean and had AC. Sameer also kept us company during the drive and was nice to chat to.

5.00Dilshad drove the car. He smiled and spoke politely, and we were able to communicate comfortably even in my poor English. It was a one-woman tour, but we had not too much conversation, not too little, no bullish promotion, and were comfortable. Abhaneri and Gartha temples have a quieter, calmer air than central Jaipur, and are recommended for those who want a short break from the bustling surroundings. He took a shortcut to the Gartha temple so that I wouldn't have to walk too much. If you want to climb from the front, I think you can make a request. All three places were amazing! Thank you very much.
