4.00Our tour guide Alexander was very knowledgeable about all things Amsterdam and was conscientious to keep the group together and make sure everybody was engaged. This tour did not cover the touristy highlights of Amsterdam, but rather history in lesser crowded areas. We did not go by the royal Palace for example but rather talked about what more common people experienced in hidden enclaves near the city center. The last 10 minutes of the tour, it poured down rain, but Alexander was undeterred and did a good job continuing the tour. Although it wasn’t what we expected, we thoroughly enjoyed this stroll around town and we learned new things!

5.00Great for first time visit to Amsterdam. Sebastian was our guide and he did a great job taking us through various parts of the city, at a reasonable pace, while providing a lot of historical background of the city. "Seabass" (Sebastian) shared his personal experiences with the group and kept the whole tour entertaining and inclusive. We were encouraged to ask any questions we might have - which we did - and he gave us a list of recommendantions at the end of the tour.

5.00The tour is 2-3 hours and moves in a circle around key points in Amsterdam. Alexander was our guide who offered great enthusiasm and a wry sense of humor as he talked about the history and culture of Amsterdam. He was also willing to answer any questions we had about the city and people and he provided links to his favorite spots at the end. It is a walking tour so be prepared to put in a few miles and carry a bottle of water. In addition, these guides are paid solely by gratuities so be prepared to tip for the high tour quality and service provided. Its well worth the expense given the insights provided.

5.00Dani was an amazing guide! He shared such great information from architecture, to history, to food. He also shared a Google sheet with that included his recommendations of places to visit as well as food/souvenirs to bring home with us. We enjoyed talking with him after the tour and were grateful that he took the time to talk with us.
