Your experience begins with a warm welcome from our dedicated local host, she’ll be your cooking companion from start to finish. Whether she takes you to a traditional open market or a local supermarket, you’ll learn how to spot the freshest ingredients and discover the essentials of Ghanaian cooking from someone who’s grown up with it.
You’ll chop, stir, season, and taste every part of the meal yourself. Our home kitchen presents an informal and interactive experience. You will have a choice to learn and prepare one of Ghana’s favourite dishes like:
- Jollof rice with meat stew,
- Light soup with goat meat and fufu,
- Banku and Okro stew,
She will use simple, traditional tools and techniques to give you a real, locally owned experience led by someone who loves to cook and connect. It is ideal for solo travellers, couples, and families who want a genuine slice of Ghanaian life.
