Excellent tour! I wanted something that combined the Acropolis and the Agora, and this tour was perfect for that. We had an amazing guide - Vasiliki - who provided a well-structured tour without overly complicating the history of the site. The Agora - while obviously not as impressive - is in my opinion a must-see as well. The group size was small, the length of the visit was perfect, and we appreciated the receivers so we could hear her at all times.

Pam was really great. She had so many historical facts to give about the Acropolis and the Agora. She was also very kind to all of us as guests.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we had a great experience learning more about what we were exactly looking at compared to just looking. Highly recommend going with a guide, ours was awesome! -Mitchell & Abby

A must go in Athens. I recommend the visit during the morning (if you go during the summer) as the heat is not too intense :)

My husband and I did this as a private tour first thing in the morning with Hermes. He was a wonderful, extremely well educated and knowledgeable tour guide. He made history come alive with stories of the sites we visited. We are somewhat old people, and Hermes accommodated our need for a slower pace in the summer heat of Athens. He always found places in the shade for us to rest a bit, while keeping up a lesson in history and culture. It was so interesting and so much fun!! We climbed the Acropolis Hill, visiting all of the amazing temples and sites. Then we saw the Agora and finally visited the Agora museum. Hermes really made our trip, and we learned so much! We’re very grateful and happy to have had this opportunity. I’d recommend this tour to anyone, and if you’re thinking about it, you should do it!

Angeliki was a fantastic tour guide who was kind to consider the needs of her tourists. The Acropolis museum is a must see. Keep in mind this trip is a lot of uphill walking, so wear good, supportive shoes. I tried to bring a camera bag into Acropolis and they wouldn't allow it; saying professional cameras were not allowed. However, many came with professional cameras or backpacks, so I think it was actually the size of my bag and the fact that it was an over-the-shoulder bag instead of a backpack. The Acropolis staff were kind enough to allow me to leave my bag at the security station and everything was intact.

We enjoyed our experience greatly. PLEASE HEED THE ADVICE TO BUY THE SITE TICKETS THROUGH THE TOUR COMPANY! It is confusing that tour and site entry tickets are separate. Others on our tour didn’t do this which created unnecessary stress and delays. Bring double the water you think you need and wear sun protection and sturdy shoes. We toured in early May and it quickly became quite hot.

This was an excellent tour! We did the Acropolis and the Agora. The guide was excellent. I would recommend just buying the tickets through them as well.
