  This tour is a must if you want a slice of peace and tranquility outside of the extremely busy city of Addis Ababa. The resort was a calm serenity if you are just looking to unwind and see some of the countryside, the real Ethiopia, away from the concrete jungle. However as good as the tour was, my tour guide Joseph took the whole experience to another level. His knowledge and communication skills were second to none but not only that of all the tours I’ve been on all over the world, he is truly one of the happiest, genuine and nicest tour guides I have ever had.   The tour guide Joseph and driver George from the Aman Travel company were fantastic. Very cordial, English speaking and kind. The trip started with few hrs at the Kiruftu water park followed by delicious local traditional lunch. Then city tour including visit to Entoto park, St Mary's Church, museum, and finally back to our hotel. A day well spent with my son!

  Yihun was our very friendly and brilliant tour guide, while Noor was our proficient and very kind driver. They both made an excellent team who gave us a top-notch trip! The warmth was palpable and the good vibes was second to none. My wife particularly loved the truck that picked us from our hotel. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed every minute of the journey. And now, I completely agree Ethiopia is a land of hospitality! Great job guys; kudos and thank you!

• Spa Day at Kuriftu Resort

  The real deal is to expend a relaxation day in a nice Resort located in a marvelous natural landscape. After one and a half hour road trip we arrived to the Resort. Our driver (Sis) took care of the full day inscription at the front desk and after that we started the fun under his guidance : half an hour kayaking in a peaceful lagoon, a body massage, manicure and pedicure (this last two where not included but we couldn't resist), a wonderful buffet and an Ethiopian Coffee served in a cozy place with a relaxing lagoon view... You are going back to Addis Ababa feeling relax. If weather is good, don't forget your bathing suit!!!

  Great to escape from the city for a lovely tranquil day at the Spa Resort. Abiy was an excellent driver and very helpful with local information. Our treatments at the Spa were excellent and the staff were very attentive. After a delicious lunch we relaxed by the pool for an hour or so. It was a pity that the Resort were not able to supply towels for non residents to use so best to take your own.

  My friend and I are short term residents of Addis, we wanted to go somewhere interesting but not ravel very far. I contacted Aman and they suggested this tour. We were picked up from our place of residence which was in a residential compound. we were accompanied by their experienced and professional driver and the guide Joseph. They made our trip so wonderful. Joseph gave us all the information which enhanced our experience. The trip included local coffee on the way, visit to the beautiful lake Bishoftu and boating in it. We then went to the Kuriftu resort, the services available here which were part of the package was the entrance fees, kayaking in the serene lake private to the resort, a sumptous buffet lunch, swimming pool, steam sauna bath, Swedish massage by expert lady masseuse, manicure/pedicure. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Everything was professionally managed by Joseph. We just relaxed and had the time of our life. Heavily recommended.
