  We couldn't have been happier with our tour. Richard organised a perfect journey incorporating all the things we most wanted, and our guide Dah was incredibly kind and thoughtful, a lovely presence on an epic journey. It was a beautiful experience.

  I went on two tours with Sidi tours, a 6 day tour and a 4 day tour. The service they delivered was exactly as described on their website. I was given an English-speaking guide, who was very knowledgeable about Mauritania and the locations we visited. It was safe, good driving, no problems, no fuss. Overall, a high level of professionalism in both the organisation and delivery of the tours. I definitely plan to use them again when I return to Mauritania in future.

  We recently did the 10 day organised tour with Sidi Tours Mauritania Heart of Adrar & Banc d'Arguin which included the iron ore train ride. It was one of the best organised tours we ever had. It was a small group of 3 people and a team of 4 from Sidi a guide, a cook and 2 drivers. The whole team was excellent, experienced of the terrain and very knowledgeable of the itinerary. The itinerary was perfectly designed full but not too rushed to enjoy the beauty of Mauritania. The trip included a lot of off road travel and overnight stays in the dessert which were the highlight of the journey for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend Sidi tours to discover the hidden beauty of Mauritania.

  We have done an eight-day tour with Sidi tours. What a wonderful professionalism!. From the beginning of the reservation Sidi treated us with respect and a wonderful upbringing and, of course, that was the same in Mauritania. We had a woman, Maglaha, as a guide because she speaks perfectly Spanish and is not the best of her. She's a lovely, loving great woman. Also, and of course, we have had the best driver-cook, how rich everything that prepared us in the middle of the desert! Airport pickup. Night in Nouakchotte. Chingeutti and its golden sand dunes. Adra region. Amogjar Canyon. Rock paintings. Oudane, Richat Structure. Library of ancient manuscripts. Tenochert nomadic oasis. Eye of Africa. Oasis Terjit. Camp Jemal. Terjit Oasis. Mherith. Valle Blanco. Great dunes of Azouega. A meeting point between the dunes and the Atlantic Ocean, called the Tiwilit. Nouakchott. All that and a thousand other details happened in eight days. 1,400 km and the feeling of having inhabited a still genuine country. Thousands of miles of wonderful infinity... And the end, meet Sidi and share with him about his country, music, customs in a tender endearing. Thank you Sidi Tours. Thank you to all of you who have joined us in that wonderful experience.

  Great company to work with, and the whole experience was fascinating and went smoothly. I recommend avoiding summer tours so that the heat is not so extreme, but do go with Sidi and his employees who will make sure you have a wonderful experience no matter the weather.

  I have used Sidi Tours a few times - I am based in Mauritania for three years - to explore the country outside of Nouakchott. Exploring Mauritania is best done with a tour company like Sidi Tours and Sidi and his team provide an incredible service from the moment you make contact and design the tour you want, to its delivery. I went to Oudane, Chinguetti, and Atar with 4 members of my family visiting from the UK. In addition to visiting these three historic towns we also experienced a cross desert driving trek, a beautiful oasis, and sun down and star gazing from the top of a huge dune. Our guide spoke great English and the cook made sure we were fed with style. All in all, a very lovely way to explore Mauritania. I have no hesitation recommending Sidi Tours.
