After meeting your guide at the Kiruna Guidetur office, you will collect warm clothes for the tour and be driven by minivan out to the forest start point (20mins). Here you will be briefed on how the snowmobiles work and important safety. Then it is time to head out into the forest for your afternoon snowmobile adventure. Your tour will take you through the beautiful area around the frozen Torne River, as well as across frozen lakes and through winding forest tracks. We use modern snowmobiles with four-stroke engines as we admire the striking arctic nature. After your tour, you will be driven back to the Kiruna Guidetur office start point.

I underestimated how good this tour is! We really enjoyed our snowmobile experience. Aurelie was fantastic. She was informative, fun and prioritised our safety in the cold conditions. We had a great time.

We had an incredible time on the afternoon snowmobile tour, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Anastasia was amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough when explaining how to safely operate the snowmobile. She made sure everyone felt confident and comfortable before we headed out. This tour is perfect for adrenaline junkies! You have the chance to go really fast across the frozen lake, which was such a rush and so much fun. As if that wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to witness the aurora, which made the experience absolutely unforgettable. 10/10 — we would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure, stunning scenery, and an expertly guided experience!

I seriously had so much fun! The snowmobiles were super cool and had so much horsepower, so we could go really fast, especially over the lakes and enjoy the Beautiful landscape!!

We really enjoyed the day with a snowmobile and visit at the Icehotel. Our guide was so friendly and open minded. He told us a lot about Kiruna. The ride on the snowmobile was really exciting and we 3 had a lot of fun. Thanks a lot for this perfect day.

It was great fun and Richard kept a close eye on the 2 snowmobiles. He stopped occasionally so we could switch. Through the forests and over the tight snow plains (the rivers). We can therefore highly recommend this 3-hour tour.

Fantastic and unique experience. I had as a guide Evelina is very nice, sociable and competent. We took a ride in the forest and then arrived on a frozen river on which you can pull the snowmobile to the maximum, really fun! Halfway through we stopped in a Sami tent. I absolutely recommend this experience Giorgio

Great experience. The Kiruna Guidetur guide made sure we were comfortably settled and let us go at our own pace between forests and frozen rivers. The setting is beautiful. We were all able to enjoy this outing by snowmobile.

We had an incredible experience on a snowmobile tour in Kiruna with a highly professional team. The guides were fantastic—they provided clear and thorough instructions on how to drive the snowmobiles, making sure everyone felt confident before we set off. During the journey, the lead guide maintained a comfortable pace and frequently checked to ensure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. It was reassuring to have a guide in the front and another at the back, which made the experience feel well-organized and secure. One of the highlights of the tour was seeing the aurora in the afternoon—it was absolutely magical! The team gave us plenty of time to pause, take in the breathtaking view, and truly savor the moment before heading back. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kiruna. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, professionalism, and unforgettable natural beauty!

The views were amazing! One of the tours you shouldn't miss if you are in Kiruna. Richard was really awesome and took care of my 7-yr old girl.
