This afternoon trip will be dedicated to the famous vineyard of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The ruins of the Pope's formal summer residence dominate the typical medieval village.
The 13 varieties of grapes combined with the various soils create a large palette of complex red wines and elegant white wines. Enjoy two wine-tastings in two of the numerous cellars of the village before going back to Avignon.

5.00Absolutely an amazing wine tour in Chateaunuef de pape. We had Nicholas as our tour guide and he was full of knowledge and made the wine tour experience more enjoyable. Him and the other guides were also very efficient too, which we can really appreciate. Would highly recommend!

5.00We had a lovely wine tour with Emile. Emile was very knowledgeable with regards to wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and the region as a whole. He was a joy to talk to about other topics. I appreciate the easy pick up and drop off in Avignon. I would love to do this tour again.

5.00Absolutely the best way to learn about the Rhône Valley wine industry especially Chateaudeneuf de Pape. Very knowledgeable local guide answered all questions, timed activities well & chose excellent sites for our itinerary. At end of tour even helped us with restaurants nearby for dinner. Her guide services went above & beyond. Highly recommend this wine tour.
