This Sea Dragon Airboat Safari is among the most exciting fresh water tours that Florida has to offer. Experience the freshwater tributaries along the beautiful and historic St Johns River. Observe various freshwater wildlife and vegetation that include American Alligators, Turtles, Reptiles, West Indian Manatees, Bald Eagles, Blue/Gray Herons, Egrets, Wild Boar, Deer, Cypress Trees, Lily Pads, and other wildlife and vegetation that inhabit the banks of our freshwater rivers and creeks. This tour is approximately 1.5 hour(s) in duration, and include a thrilling ride through parts of Trout Creek, Six Mile Creek, and the Bayard Conservation Area which are all located in the western most side of St. Augustine/St. Johns County.

Captain was great. Gave interesting information about crocodiles. Was fun and safe. Highly recommended. March and April would be good for croc’s mating.

What a great time! This was our first time on an airboat and Capt. Justin was awesome and very keen on the area. He did a great job and I would highly recommend taking this tour!!

A beautiful, chilly day to go out on the water. Great guide, overall wonderful experience, appropriate for all ages (maybe not babies).

We had a wonderful time with Captain Justin. We did the 4pm ride and were worried about the light but it was absolutely beautiful with the trees having a mirror image in the water. We saw a few alligators and tons of birds and learned a lot about the area from Justin. Highly recommend!

My husband has always wanted to ride an airboat, so while we were on vacation I booked this tour for us. I am a little scared of water, esp. deep water, so I was kinda nervous. We arrived and Captain Fernando greeted us along with 5 other passengers for the morning. It was super cold so we weren't sure we would even see any alligators. The tour starts in a no wake zone and then once they hit open water you take off! I was nervous at first but Captain Fernando was an awesome boat captain and I really enjoyed the experience. He even pointed out an alligator for us to see. The waves were getting choppy on the way back to dock and he handled the boat great! Really enjoyed our ride and we plan on doing it again next year when we are back in the area. Thank you Captain Fernando and Sea Serpent tours!

The airboat ride was very fun for our two families. The guide was fantastic and energetic. The boat was loud but we had headphones to hear the guide tell us about the area which had a lot of history. He also plaid music for when we rode fast on the river which was exciting. Saw gators and turtles along the way and a sunken boat. Our first ride and definitely would bring family visiting St. Augustine to experience Sea Serpent Tour airboat ride again.
This was a fun trip!...

Located just outside St Augustine, it was a great adventure. It was fun to ride on the airboat, but our guide was so informative, pointed out alligators, turtles and other native wildlife as well as history of the area.

Through the backwaters of the St. Johns River We were excited. Experience Florida’s delicate ecosystem with a local captain and learn about flora and fauna in a fun and educational way. Hidden places that few others see are discovered here. State-of-the-art voice-controlled headsets allow smooth communication during the tour while allowing our guide to be heard. When our captain realized that we loved his "driving", he stepped on the gas and several sudden turns. Short we enjoyed it, but must not be compared to the Everglades (near Miami)
