This Sea Dragon Airboat Safari is among the most exciting fresh water tours that Florida has to offer. Experience the freshwater tributaries along the beautiful and historic St Johns River. Observe various freshwater wildlife and vegetation that include American Alligators, Turtles, Reptiles, West Indian Manatees, Bald Eagles, Blue/Gray Herons, Egrets, Wild Boar, Deer, Cypress Trees, Lily Pads, and other wildlife and vegetation that inhabit the banks of our freshwater rivers and creeks. This tour is approximately 1.5 hour(s) in duration, and include a thrilling ride through parts of Trout Creek, Six Mile Creek, and the Bayard Conservation Area which are all located in the western most side of St. Augustine/St. Johns County.

5.00Located just outside St Augustine, it was a great adventure. It was fun to ride on the airboat, but our guide was so informative, pointed out alligators, turtles and other native wildlife as well as history of the area.

5.00Through the backwaters of the St. Johns River We were excited. Experience Florida’s delicate ecosystem with a local captain and learn about flora and fauna in a fun and educational way. Hidden places that few others see are discovered here. State-of-the-art voice-controlled headsets allow smooth communication during the tour while allowing our guide to be heard. When our captain realized that we loved his "driving", he stepped on the gas and several sudden turns. Short we enjoyed it, but must not be compared to the Everglades (near Miami)

5.00My husband and I took our 15 year old daughter and her friend. We all loved it! Our tour guide, Fernando, was funny, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We saw lots of gators, turtles and birds. Highly recommend!

4.00Great family fun! We traveled out on the river and a creek. We spotted a small alligator. We went a little fast a few times. I would definitely like to see more wildlife but it was still fun.

5.00Our captain, Fernando, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The excursion was pleasant and informative. We saw seven alligators and many turtles. It was well worth doing, and I would go again.

5.00This was an excellent activity for my entire family! Beautiful landscape, animals natural to the habitat, butterflies, wildflowers, tons of wildlife! Our tour guide was entertaining, and it was a nice mixture of riding in the boat while also floating and admiring nature while learning about alligators! Tour guide was actually funny! I read a ton of reviews before purchasing tickets as it was an investment for our family of eight. However, it was worth it. The negative comments now seem absurd to me as the experience was just what I was hoping it would be! The map let us straight to the location, the speed of the boat provided lots of fresh air! Thanks for a lovely activity!

1.00Absolutely horrible, miserable experience. The tour operators couldn't have cared less that a torrential downpour completely soaked us ruining my wallet, my shoes and all of our clothes were thoroughly soaked. My grandkids were crying and miserable. They didn't cancel or reschedule the event. You don't get refunds if you don't go regardless of thunder lightning or rain. They didn't offer any rain gear or any protection from the weather. I strongly do not recommend this tour. Besides being completely lame, this by far was the worst tour l've ever been on among dozens and dozens of tours.
