The Capital city of the “Trulli” will amaze you with its ancient stone houses, narrow streets and conical roofs decorated with magical symbols. Upon your arrival, you'll visit the "Aia Piccola", where the original trulli are still preserved.

Second stop: Matera (2.5 hours)
Our journey starts with a walking tour of the famous “Sassi” (historical cave dwellings).
Enter a real cave house and enjoy a breathtaking view over the Murgia plateau.
At the end of the tour, you will have 1 hour of free time to have lunch on your own or to stroll around the small craft shops.

5.00Very professional company, everything was perfectly organized. The driver and guide were both super friendly, knowledgeable and made the day really enjoyable. Matera is a unique town, that must be visited once in a lifetime. They also offered to change the drop-off point at the end of the tour as we preferred to stay closer to Bari city center see the christmas lights. You can trust them completely - and you won't regret it!

5.00Booking this tour was the best decision we made. My husband, daughter, and I had a fantastic day in Matera and Alberobello. The driver and guide, Andreas and Piero, were both friendly and welcoming. He shared so much history and knowledge with us that we would never have known without his tour. He was generous with his time and gave us tips on the places we visited. The van ride was comfortable, air-conditioned, and on time at every stop. It was an excellent tour and well worth the time and money.

1.00I travel frequently and have used aviator often, but I could not find the meeting spot. The private driver left without picking us up.

5.00Really excellent experience and well worth the price. My group saw both Matera & Alberobello and chose to have both the driver & guide. Our guide Matthias was very attentive and provided a health of information. He took our group on tours of both locations and also provided a recommendation for where to eat in Alberobello. My family felt very cared for. Definitely would recommend.

5.00Absolute cannot miss places. Drive was exceptional. Long day but 2-3 hours in each will work. Food in Matera is exceptional. The streets and sidewalks are very slippery in many ateas as the stone is worn down. Wear proper shoes with very good traction and comfort.

5.00We enjoyed our tour with Enza. She and our driver picked us up from our hotel in Matera. We toured Matera in a van as it has a permit to drive inside Matera. Then we went to see the Trullo houses which were so cute! Enzo was very knowledgeable and had so many interesting facts about the sights.

5.00Wear great shoes as you will need grip on the smooth surface of the stones on incline, however, it is so worth it to get through areas which can only be seen on foot, personally, and intimately with your tour guide. He was very in tune with our interests and needs in the group, yet did not let one dominate the experience. When we inquired about various historical or cultural aspects, he delivered, allowing us to experience the beauty of the trilli inside and out, the market, and the depth of the world’ 3rd oldest continuously occupied city of Matera. Worth every experience!
