5.00Our tour guide, German guy, forgot his name was amazing. Charming and funny and so knowledgeable about SF history. Very easy going pace and we were able to cover Sausalito, red woods, pics by golden gate, and a drop off at Alcatraz pier. My 10 yr old son loved it.

5.00Easy to navigate. Alcatraz was great. No hassles getting on the ferry. Instructions were clear. We enjoyed the Sprinter ride to Muir and Sausalito.

5.00Loved it all, but especially Muir Woods! Salsalito was very peaceful and quaint. Alcatraz was very informative tour. Redwoods in Muir Woods were awesome.
San Francisco - for something different

5.00I have been to San Francisco before so I was looking for something different. Muir Woods didn't disappoint! Such beauty 😍 and it was lovely to get away from the hussle and bustle of the city Salsalito is a quaint town and it was a pleasant stop off! The guide took us to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge - which was an added bonus! Probably one of the best views I've seen of it. Alcatraz is something else!! There is a strange beauty of it in the evening and was very photogenic! An excellent audio tour...but with hindsight I wish I'd done Alcatraz first then taken in nature... the evil of Alcatraz was palpable and I was glad to get out of there!! That said, there was a fantastic exhibition on the Native American Indian occupation of Alcatraz in the 1970s. A trip to the island for this alone was worth it. A great tour! Ps. Our guide recommended the Buena Vista as we were being dropped off. So I checked this out! Great recommendation 👍

5.00Alcatraz was surreal, educational, and incredibly interesting. The audio tour, narrated by former guards and inmates, really brought the prison’s history to life. Learning about the Indian occupation was powerful, and the views and gardens were beautiful. Muir Woods was peaceful and breathtaking, with majestic redwoods and calming trails, while Sausalito was a charming seaside town. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, funny, and made the entire experience unforgettable. 10/10!

4.00Interesting history but a little overrated. Be prepared for some strenuous hill climbing and uneven surfaces. The flowers were beautiful.
