The 8:30am option departs from 488 Post Street. Look for a black Mercedes sprinter van parked across the street. It will start with Muir Woods and Sausalito then go to Alcatraz.

The 9:10am option departs from Pier 33. It will start with Alcatraz then go to Muir Woods and Sausalito.

The 12:50pm option departs from Pier 33. It will start with Muir Woods and Sausalito then to Alcatraz at night.

    Felt abandoned at the outset as no one from Viator to meet us at Pier 33 and just got on with it! We’re not kids but no contact about where to go etc. no guidance about return ferries other than be back by…Sausalito too rushed and came back for more extensive look next day. No signs about be safe have a great day just usual 20% gratuity expected- sad perception of whole visit- some of us know how when to tip generously don’t grind our noses in it. Good to sample 3 locations in one day.

    So good I’d do it again! The tour lasts for 5-6 hours but the time goes by so fast. Our guide was funny, educated and he made the experience even better.
