Tipasa Roman ruins is a UNESCO site on the Algerian coast, providing amazing experience and deep understanding of the Roman history. A city first occupied by the old Phoenician traders, and became and important source for Romans that occupied most the Algerian north after that. Walking through it’s fabulous sites and historical monuments that were and still a great witness of Roman architecture, lifestyle and art. With a visit to a museum that’s full with art pieces and fascinating mosaics. A walk through city of Cherchell that’s a mix of history and modern Algerian culture. Summarising the visit with the unique circular royal Mausoleum that stands as an important witness of the Numidian architecture and Egyptian influence and connection.

5.00Absolutely fantastic trip worth every cent, with the best guide ever! Riad is the most knowledgeable guide, a political science graduate with perfect English, presenting thousands of facts about the history, the economy, the politics, the nature - practically anything you could think of. The trip covers important Roman Empire sites in Algeria, with a visit to a small museum with incredibly rich statue and mosaic collection, a vast seaside town of Tipaza with well preserved ruins of a Roman city, and an impressive mausoleum built by the local king for Cleopatra's daughter who was his wife, in year 5 AD. Recommend a 100%, and would do more trips with Riad any time!

5.00Riad was a wonderful guide with deep knowledge and also very sympathic. Beseides the tour steps, I could discuss with him about many themes in modern Algeria (whic is not mentioned in any travel book). Absolutely recommended.

5.00Raid is an excellent guide, he is very knowledgeable about his country. My husband & I had him for 3 days in Algers we learned so much about the country. He spoke English fluently, very accommodating and very friendly. If I could I’d give him 10/10 . We loved our time with him & we definitely recommend him for a tour guide!
