Visit Algiers Casbah with an experienced Algerian tour guide. Come discover the millennial Medina of the Casbah with its narrow streets and beautiful palaces filled with culture and history. Forts, ruins and many other surprises to see and learn about in a full tour of the old city. While in the Casbah, why not try a traditional meal cooked and served by locals in an old house in the heart of the Medina. This can be arranged by our agency as part of your tour.
NB: Please, note if you book a group tour without lunch, there is a chance of taking a lunch pause of about 45-60min for everyone to enjoy Algerian delights then resume the group tour.

5.00Since I was the only person on the tour I essentially got a private tour for the price of a group tour! The guide was very friendly and informative. He also helped me out with information about how to withdraw cash from ATMs in Algiers as many arent Visa friendly.
It was an experience.

5.00It was an enriching experience not only for the historical and architectural aspects related to the Casbah - a World Heritage Site - but also for the focus on the most recent history: the struggle for independence, of which the Casbah preserves the wounds and memories.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour with Sam. The Casbah can be a little confusing so it's nice to have a guide being you around and saves you a lot of time. He gave lots of interesting facts about the history of Algeria and knew loads about the architecture of the city.

5.00Excellent morning tour of the Casbah. Very knowledgeable guide who gave an overview of the history of Algiers that put things in context. Doing the tour without a guide we would have missed so much. Just the right amount of information and explanation to make it interesting without being overloaded. It was a small group of five which was perfect. Would highly recommended this tour.
