  Today we visited the Alhambra, Nasribes and Generalife palaces with Sheikh Sow. He was very interesting, smiling and his knowledge is complete. We highly recommend it for visits to Granada.

  We arrived at the Alhambra without reservation for a guided tour, and were septical in view of a guided tour... Nevertheless after some exchanges with our excellent guide Sheikh we left for Generalive and its beautiful gardens. Sheikh is a learned guide filled with joy and humor! These explanations were precise and very clear. Then Sheikh took us to visit the watchtower and finally admired the 12 lions. Sheikh has intoxicated us with his knowledge and his exciting anecdotes. Beyond being a superb guide Sheikh has the ability to captivate all ages We hope one day to get lost and find Sheikh at the wine door. Thank you Sheikh for this extraordinary and captivating visit Pierre, Céline, Basil, Zélie and Gaston.

  My experience with the tour guide in Granada was very enriching. From the very beginning, her deep knowledge of the city and the Alhambra was clearly noticeable, not only in historical aspects, but also in interesting details and curiosities that we would never have discovered by ourselves. She took us to all the major corners and also to hidden places that offered breathtaking views and were perfect for taking photos. Every place visited was accompanied by clear, entertaining explanations, full of anecdotes that brought history to life. In addition, their patience and attention to the group was extraordinary. She always made sure that everyone felt comfortable and their needs were taken into account. Throughout the tour there was a warm and pleasant atmosphere. You can clearly see that she really cares about bringing Granada closer to the visitors. This is evident in every detail, from their friendliness to the careful care they take at every stop of the tour.

  We had not booked a guide, but arrived there we felt that this would be necessary. The guides at the reception cut into 4 to find a last minute French guide and what a magnificent visit it was. Sow transports us instantly into the history of the Alhambra with passion and good humor. An outstanding guide, a real gem that enchanted this long-awaited visit.   Our Alhambra tour with Cheikh Sow was an unforgettable journey through time. From the moment we stepped inside, he didn’t just tell us history, he brought it to life. Cheikh had this incredible ability to paint stories with his words, helping us envision the Nasrid dynasty, the sultans who once wandered the same gardens, and the architects whose brilliance still leaves the world in awe. He taught us to notice the smallest details, the hidden symbols in the carvings, the precision of Islamic geometry, the meaning behind every arch and fountain. Walking through the palaces and courtyards with him felt like exploring secrets that only a true expert could reveal. What made the experience truly special was his passion. You could feel how deeply he loves the Alhambra’s heritage, and that energy made every step more meaningful. We left not only amazed by what we saw, but with a real understanding of the culture and history behind it.   I recommend Mr. Sow without hesitation a real book of history and passionate about the Alhambra who reveals to him every passage his secrets, his broad culture of history allows us to immerse ourselves in the time of the sultans and sultanas, and his mastery of Arabic is also a great plus to discover the secrets of Arabic calligraphy...his passion of the Alhambra does not leave us indifferent, he gives meaning and life to the visit.
