During the course of the day we will drive through the beguiling, sublimely beautiful and largest county in England, Yorkshire. In fact many simply call it Gods County. We will see the extraordinary variety of landscape from the very flat and rural Vale of Yorkshire to the steep, craggy and effortlessly beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. Along the way we will get out and explore different locations so you can really embrace and experience what a wonderful place this is and never just spend too much time in the vehicle. Nice surprises and sheep sightings are always included! If your trip to the UK includes visits to to the world class cities of London and Edinburgh then you must include Yorkshire as the perfect counter point to demonstrate what extraordinary variety this wonderful country can offer.
Yorkshire Dales National Park
After leaving York we will arrive in the Yorkshire Dales a little time later this is where the majority of All Creatures Great and Small is filmed and we will immediately start to see some of the locations which have now been made so famous by the All Creatures Great and Small Show.

5.00Andrew's "All Creatures Great and Small" excursion stood out as a top memory for our family during our two-week UK adventure. Beyond providing a secure and pleasant journey to the filming sites, he was engaging, friendly, kind, and humorous throughout. I highly recommend Expedition Yorkshire – you won't be disappointed! A perfect 10/10!

5.00We had a wonderful full-day tour of the Yorkshire Dales with Richard. He picked us up where were staying in Grassington and took us to all the All Creatures filming sites outside of the town. At first, we had thought of driving to those places ourselves, but we decided that the stress of driving on those very narrow roads was not worth it! Many Dales roads are barely wide enough for two cars wedged in between the dry stone walls on each side. This was especially challenging since we are from the US and used to driving on the right side of the road. Having Richard do the driving allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. He was a personable, knowledgeable guide, and he knew just where to take us for scenery and experiences as well as the All Creatures sites. We went to Malham Cove for a walk and stopped at the Wensleydale creamery, where we tasted all their wonderful cheeses. The day with Richard was a high point of our visit to northern England.

5.00My husband and I traveled from Alabama to Europe and wanted to include a trip to the Dales. After spending an unusually warm, July day with Richard and a delightful high school intern, we fell in love with him and Expedition Yorkshire! All Creatures Great and Small iconic spots were visited, we hiked Malham Cove and stopped for lunch at The Devonshire and later a drink at The Green Dragon Inn. We were captivated by his knowledge of the area and by all the beauty surrounding us! Richard packed so much into our day, but our favorite part was getting to know him and having him guide us around the Dales! We will forever rave about this being the most beloved part of our trip. Thank you to Expedition Yorkshire for making it possible!

5.00Richard was our guide and he was fantastic. Our family wanted to see particular spots and also hike in the Dales. Richard accommodated our requests with patience and expertise. We would give him 6 stars rather than 5 if possible.
