In this private day tour, you will be able to visit the top two attractions in Beijing: Great Wall of China (one of the seven wonders in the world) and the Summer Palace (the emperor's garden during the summer time in the past). You will be amazed by the grand view when you stand on the Great Wall. Summer Palace is going to give you another totally different feeling by its beautiful scenery. All entrance fee, cable car/toboggan fee, lunch meal, tour guide and private transfer service are all inclusive.

Mutianyu Great Wall
In the morning, your professional English speaking tour guide and driver with air-conditioning car will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby. Then you will go to the Mutianyu Great Wall first (1.5 hours driving), which is further section in Beijing area and less crowed. This stretch of the Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of the year. It winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain, before turning sharply and dipping downhill. You'll have around two hours to explore the Great Wall. It takes around half an hour to hike up on foot, or you can choose to take the cable car or chair lift: it's also possible to toboggan.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
After your tasty lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace. It takes a bit over an hour to get there from the Great Wall. The Summer Palace was the royal garden in the past time. There are beautiful many pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lake, and corridors. While the Long Corridor is the longest one in the world which is on the Genuineness World Records. You will also see famous Seventeen Arches Bridge, Qingyan Stone Boat, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill there. After the tour. Then drive you back to the hotel.

5.00A fantastic experience visiting the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. We were picked up on time at our hotel in a nice, clean car. Our driver was very kind and a great driver. Lucy, our tour guide, was incredible. Her English is fluent, and she truly knows the history and details of Beijing. She was very kind and was always available to help. Everything ran smoothly and was perfectly managed. This is definitely the best way to see the Great Wall. I would do this tour again and recommend it to everyone. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

She was an amazing guide, and she was into every historical detail during our pass through the palace and the grand wall, and she also took amazing pictures for us. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who is planning to come to Beijing.

5.00We visited the winter palace and the Great Wall with our 2 children 8 and 10 years old with our guide Maggie and a driver. Great day for all of us, Maggie is a thoughtful guide who gives clear and precise explanations, and gave us time to visit at our own pace thinking about the children. Buffet breakfast very good, car with driver very clean and pleasant. We highly recommend.

5.00We spent an amazing day with our guide, Jerry. We started at the Summer Palace where Jerry did a fabulous job of describing the history and sites of the palace. After, we went to the incredible Mutiyanu Great Wall. Jerry gave us a history of how the wall was built through the various dynasties and then let us explore the wall at our own pace. The Great Wall absolutely lived up the hype. I highly recommend Lily's Tours and Jerry as your guide. You won't regret it!

5.00We had an amazing day with our guide Linda! She was professional, informative, and courteous, as was our private driver. The Summer Palace was peaceful, and the Great Wall was spectacular. Linda helped us to avoid the crowds at both locations and to learn their fascinating history.
