This is so fun! They feed you well and you get a good amount of rum in each drink. The hosts were so kind and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend! Our tour guides were Dali, she’s super funny , Amanda , she’s very kind and upbeat, and jonathan , he’s a great bar tender and a sweet guy! I loved this crew and my brothers who had never been snorkeling had such a blast !

We had a great time snorkeling and enjoying the beach at Icacos. Our crew (Andrew, Daya, Georgi, and Captain Soli) was great! There were about 30 people on our boat and the crew had cold drinks available the entire time. The beach was very relaxing. We saw several stingrays while we were snorkeling.

First I'll start by saying Crew was great and food was good! I was disappointed in the snorkeling, only spent an hour snorkeling in one area and then went over to the island for a couple hours where it was more like a booze cruise and people were drinking and partying. Just not very family friendly and not everyone drinks. I just thought there'd be more snorkeling in other areas but seemed like the focus was mainly on drinking.

SUFFERED "SIPE - SWIMMER INDUCED PULMANARY EDEMA" ON TRIP , A.MOST DIED AFTER 6 DAYS IN HOSPITAL hi, this is bob lorum from rhode island, usa. i'm writing you this note to achieve 2 important things: 1 - thank your team for saving my life 2- provide you with insights / recommendations to mitigate potential further incidents with other guests so, my wife kim and i took your snorkel tour on Dec 27th. the crew and experience were wonderful. upon reaching the reef for snorkeling, my wife decided not to get in the water as it was a bit rough. i proceeded to do so as planned. after perhaps 5 minutes into the snorkel, i couldn't breath, with or without my snorkel attached. i summonsed one of your teammates that was near to me. he swam me back to boat with life raft. i was able to breath enough to get up the ladder and walk to to the front of the boat. my wife saw me. she said i was white, she was scared. i sat down upright still struggling to breath. while gasping for air, i started coughing up blood non-stop (i.e., sputum). the team got everyone back on the boat within 15 minutes due to my situation, called a local ambulance service and dropped me off accordingly to go to the hospital. all my vitals were increased highly - i was essentially drowining from within although i didn't swallow any water at all during the 5 minutes in the water. no chest pain, just lungs filling up with water from within and blood. i spent 4 days in turks local hospital trying to figure out what had happened,. they presumed heart attack, hence treated me accordingly. since they don't have a cardiac unit in turks i had to take a $100,000 emergency airplane ambulance flight to miami, florida to continue the medical treatment. they initially thought it was a heart attack as well. after spending 2 days in miami with the cardiologists, conducting multiple heart tests and being pumped full of tons of drugs, they ruled out heart attack and determined that i had suffered from a rare event called SIPE (swimmer induced pulmary edema) or IPE (immersion pulmanary edema). while they were able to definitively confirm my heart is in peak condition, they were a bit baffled by SIPE to say the least as it's rare, mistaken for drowning and could have been caused by a multitude of factors. we are home safe in westerly, ri after our perilous adventure, safe and healthy. i will be doing some additional tests this week to confirm some things. in summary - i wanted to thank your team for saving my life. and to recommend that they are further trained in recognizing and reacting to this life threatening event should it occur in the future. from all i have learned: 1 - it can happen within minutes 2 - get the person out of water fast 3 - if councious, get them to sit upright 4 - if coughing, have them spit it out the blood and water 5 - it can happen to experienced, healthy swimmers 6 - educate your teams how to recognize and treat 7 - get them medical help right away as you can die within minutes 8 - IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO HAVE AN OXYGEN TANK ONBOARD in conclusion, i'm lucky to be alive and hope this information helps your team and others who may experience this horrible thing. feel free to contact me directly at 951-378-1991 or [email protected] anytime to say hello or discuss in detail. thank you.

Dags was our guide and she was phenomenal. Great energy, true passion for the job! The rest of the crew was great too. While we didnt get to see any of the big ones, we still had a lot of fun and look forward to doing this again!

We did 730 am trip. Did not get on the boat and leave until 830, sat around a restaurant waiting for the crew to prep the boat. Turned out there were 2 boats on our tour that went out together- ours had 39 people. There was very little information provided in what was planned for the day. 30 min sail to a crowded spot in Vieques (about 10 other boats were docked at the beach). Groups broken up - beginners snorkel at the beach, and advanced were taken about 500' off shore. Water in this area was extremely sandy so hard to see anything at a distance. Mostly small fish and the 25 other people in the water. Crew never opened up the slide on our boat. We found out later that we were supposed to use another boat for the slide?? Lunch was very simple, but when hungry and on the water it was sufficient. Crew was mixed bag- only one (Dag) seemed excited to be doing her job- the others seemed robotic. This is our 5th snorkel trip while visiting San Juan and would rank in last place.
