Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bali situated in Tegalalang Village north of Ubud Bali featured by the amazing rice terrace set on the cliff. Tegalalang Village is located 600 m above sea levels covered by good temperature where most of the villagers are farmers. Tegalalang Rice Fields near Ubud, where Subak (a traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system) is practiced. According to local history, Subak was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Admire the view from here that spreads out to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley.

Ubud Traditional Art Market

Ubud Traditional Art Market where the existence is not far different from other markets available in the tourism area. This market is a society economics center of Ubud and it is opposite to the existence of the Ubud Empire that is called Puri Saren. The market is unfolding from west to easterly divided into two groups with different purposes. There are two markets available at the same area those are one block at the Westside is for a traditional artistic market and another block located in the east as an everyday traditional fundamental market requirement. This market is open every day from about 08:00 until 18:00, even some of them are still open until nighttime. While the traditional market for the fundamental requirement is open everyday at 06:00 - even before that there is a morning market that starts at 04:00 in the morning.

    We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring the Ubud area with our driver Komang! He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain each area to us, knew the best places to take us, and ensured that we felt safe and cared for the entire day. We couldn't have asked for a better day exploring with Komang and would highly recommend a tour with him.

    The trip with Mr Wayan was amazing. He is very good guide with amazing knowledge about Bali and routes. He will suggest best places to cover with less travel. If you thinking for trip to BALI you can take his service. Price is also very reasonable. He can speak English so language will not be a barrier. Thanks Wayan for the trip.

    Wayan was an amazing driver and tour guide! During our vacation to Ubud Bali, he provided round-trip private transfer from the airport and also daily tours which we were able to customize based on our desired activities, sightseeing etc. He was always on time, super safe driver, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed talking to him during the trip as he provided tons of history and information about Bali. Also he had great recommendations for food! Communication was professional and super easy as we chatted over Whatsapp beforehand so the transport each day went smoothly. We highly recommend his car service to those travelling to Bali! Easy 5 stars! Thank you Wayan for the fantastic time!

    Wayan is an excellent tour guide. He is very professional and took us to a lot of interesting places and offering plenty of advices. He is very friendly and informative. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to tour Bali. He provided a very safe journey throughout the entire trip.

    Wayan was our driver over 10 days. He was fantastic. He was always on time. He took us to all the interesting sites. When we in countered rain one day, he quickly changed the itinerary which worked well.

    It was my first time to Indonesia and I chose this trip on my first day to see some of the beautiful nature of Bali. The rice terraces were stunning as was the waterfall and Goa Gajah. Wayan was knowledgeable on the Ubud area and taught me about each place. He was well organised with regards to timing and provided plenty of bottled water. Being a solo traveller it was nice that he offered to take photos of me at each place as well. A tour well worth it.
