Udawalawe National park is one of the best park to see Asian wild elephants. The park is situated 165 km from Colombo. Largely comprised of grasslands and bush forest, it’s also one of the best national parks in Sri Lanka for game spotting. there are about 500 elephants in the park and they often roam in herds of up to 100. Udawalawe National Park is unique in terms of consistency in numbers of elephants roaming the park: it has no a seasonal variation in herds of elephants. The best hours to visit the park are in the mornings and evenings. Late evening also affords the photographic opportunities in the backdrop of loveliest sunsets.

5.00Was an amazing trip. The driver was an excellent driver, Dilan was an excellent narrator and guide. He knew about all the animals and was alert to our needs. We saw elephants, crocodiles, mongooses, spotted deer, water buffalo, and dozens of type birds super colorful small ones to large eagles in a nest with babies. Was a good driver to and from the safari location and answered every question we had. Would highly reccommend.
Dylan is a star! Book this tour!

5.00I cannot express how fantastic this day was. My guide Dylan was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish he was a wonderful companion and very knowledgable guide. I highly recommend this trip to anyone but especially to those who may be travelling alone. As a single woman, I felt fully entertained, educated, safe and had an absolutely brilliant day. I cannot wait to do more tours with Dylan in the future!

5.00Whole trip was planned perfectly and according to our wishes. The Guide and the Jeep Driver were so experienced and proffesional, a real nature lovers. We took so many photos, spotted more than 30 elephants, no to mention other species as jackals, buffalos, crocodiles and so many birds. The trip was both adventurous and comfortable plus I was feeling super safe. This was my first time in Sri Lanka and when I will be back I am choosing the same company.

5.00BOOK THIS TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I found this tour on tripadvisor and saw the great reviews, but was still blown away by how wonderful an experience it was. The tour guide Mindika, picked me up from my Colombo hotel and we drove the 4 hours to Udawalawe. He gave me SO much information about things we were passing, things in Sri Lanka, and about the various animals we were going to see on the safari. Our safari driver, Dharme, was also amazing and has eagle eyes to find and point out even the smallest lizard on the safari path. We were able to see a wide array of animals from elephants- males, females, and babies, crocodiles, water buffalo, birds, monkeys, lizards, and even a usually hard to see jackal family. Mindika was fabulous during the safari telling me so much information about the different animals and behaviors we were seeing. Following the tour we were able to stop at the Elephant Transit Home near Udawalawe which was a personal request that Mindika was gracious enough to accommodate. BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. 7 star service, the nicest guide in Sri Lanka, fully certified, so accommodating, and will be a memory of a lifetime!

5.00In February I was in Sri Lanka and again planned my trip with Traumlandtours. Everything was perfect again. I have no regrets booking with Dilhan again. He adjusted perfectly to my wishes. If I wanted to see something else in between, he made it possible. He never left me alone and explained everything to me. My journey started in Udawalawe. I stayed there at Max Safari Villa, which is right next to the Safari Park. I can only recommend the accommodation, Max takes care of the accommodation and also organizes the safari. His mother cooked and it was one of the best meals I have eaten in Sri Lanka. Then it was on to Ella. Ella itself is very lively with lots of nice cafes and restaurants. We were on Little Adams Peak, the view was simply fantastic, later we went to the nine arches bridge. Dilhan explained everything well there too. After Ella we went to Nuwara Eliya. We took a nice boat tour on the lake and later visited the vegetable market. Which was very interesting. From Nuwara Elliya we went back to Negombo. A very beautiful scenic road with two waterfalls and with many impressions. I highly recommend Dilhan. I'm coming back to Sri Lanka and I'll book Dilhan as my guide again. Thank you very much Dilhan. I really enjoyed the time. I did it again and happy with it In February I was in Sri Lanka and planned my trip again withDreamlandtours. Everything was perfect again. The accommodation I can only recommend, Max takes care of the accommodation and also organizes the safari. His mother cooked and it was one of the best food I ate in Sri Lanka. Then we went on to Ella. Ella herself is very busy with many nice cafes and restaurants. There we were on Little Adams Peak, the view was just fantastic, later we went to the nine arches Bridge. Dilhan explained everything well. After Ella we went to Nuwara Eliya. On the lake we did a nice boat tour and later visited the vegetable market. Who was very interesting. 5.00I and my husband booked a short 5 Days trip with Traumland Tours during our vacation in Sri Lanka. Dilan accompanied with us from the time of the booking until the end of the tour. He was our tour guide. A guide with a passion and very knowledgeable about the country. His organizing is fantastic and over five star. Very friendly tour host. Our itinerary was what we expected and delivered many more. More than we expected actually. It was a very comfortable trip included of good hotels and food. All the credits must go to our sweet tour guide - Dilan for organizing a magical trip in Sri Lanka and i do not think twice to come back to Sri Lanka, and Book with Traumland Tours. 5.00I booked a day excusion trip to Udawalawe National park with Traumland Tours. The price is very reasonable and the service is seven star standard. The driver picked up me from Jetwing Blue Hotel Negombo in the morning ( at 6.30am) and drove to Udawalawe. Though the drive was like 6 hours, driver from Traumland Tours offered me a great introduction about Sri Lanka and its features. Before the safari tour, he brought me to the elephant transit home where you can see orphan baby elephants and their milk feeding session. Thats one of my best experience ever. After the orphanage and the lunch break, Traumland Tours had organized a good quality of private safari jeep only for myself. My driver joined with me for the safari trip and it was fantastic. What a beautiful experience. I could spot more than fifty elephants including a tusker. The safari driver was very well experienced and good of spotting animals. It was my very first safari tour and i have no words to explain how great it was. The whole trip was fantastic and i highly recommend Traumland Tours. They are the best tour organizers i ever come across!
