Ama Dablam- (6812m.) means "Mother's necklace"; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (Ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier is thought of as the Dablam. The traditional double-pendant contains pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women. Island Peak (6,160m.) is also known as Imja Tse Himal, due to its location that towers high amidst magnificent Imja Tse valley. As it appears like an island, the early pioneers and mountaineers tagged the name Island peak.

I had a good experience, the journey was secure and safety , time to time food and drink any kind of weather.I think length of journey bit longer. Admission fee not bad but I didn't expect other expens

Very well organized trip.. Guide, porters we providing service according to our expectation.. And there was really tasty food in base camp. We had no single complain and enjoyed our trip to the max.. All this service allowed us to concentrate on the mountain and successfully summit both Island Peak and Ama Dablam

We used Monte Rosa for their Ama Dablam base camp service in spring 2022 for our attempt to climb the mountain. The services were excellent at base camp with an amazing array of food provided for us in a comfortable large tent with charging capacity. The team were really friendly and would always go out of there way to help us out. Highly recommended and one of the best value for money services on the mountain. Would highly recommend and go on an expedition with Monte Rosa again.

Great welcoming staff looking after us at Basecamp, food was stunning, attention to detail setting up comfortable spacious tents, shower facilities, charging for electronics. Nothing was too much effort for this team and always with a smile, whatever time of day. Ganesh worked hard to help when we were delayed at Lukla because of bad weather, and has been flexible and accommodating throughout. A stunning trip to an inspiring part of the world, thank you!
