Memorial chorten built in memory of late 3rd King and good place to take pictures of Bhutanese senior citizen.
Buddha Dordenma

Motithang Takin Preserve
The Takin Preserve center offers beautiful hiking to the mini zoo and back to the parking space. Here you get to see national animal of Bhutan (Takin), barking deer and sambar deer.
National Institute for Zorig Chusum
National Institute of Zorig Chusum is vocational training institute where students learn 13 different arts of Bhutan. They learn tailoring, sculpture, painting, pottery and many more.

National Folk Heritage Museum

Thimphu’s Weekend Market
Vegetable market place where people from across the country come here to sale their products. The market is closed only on Tuesday, open for rest of the days.

Dochula Pass
One of the most popular location to stop over for hot tea/coffee with stunning 180-degree panoramic view of the Great Himalayan mountain ranges. The view is especially scenic and very clear on winter days with snowcapped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.
Royal Botanical Garden
Lampari Botanical Garden is located in a scenic green area, it is a perfect place for nature lover and photography. A good spot for bird watching and picnic lunch.
Wangdue Dzong
Wangdue Dzong (17th century fortress) is under construction after the beautiful Dzong was raze to ground by fire in the summer of 2012.
Black Necked Crane Center
Cranes and valley. The main charm of the center is "Karma", an injured crane with a broken wing which is kept in an enclosure. Visit Phobjikha to see the majestic cranes.
Farm House visit, which offers a taste of Bhutanese farm life is truly for those who want to experience nature in its originality. Gangtey Monastery
Situated atop a hill at an altitude of 2800m, it is an important monastery of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism which is considered as the main seat of Pema Lingpa Tradition. It depicts the detail Bhutanese unique art and architecture. The monastery is surrounded by small village with traditional houses that adds the beauty of the landscape.
Chimi Lhakhang Temple
Walking in between the paddy fields to the temple of fertility is a amazing experience. It is believed that women who seek fertility will be blessed. Travelers from all over the world visit this temple for a gift of richness.
Punakha Dzong
Palace of Great Happiness or Bliss'. The dzong has one of the most majestic structure and architectures in the country and is located at the confluence of two rivers- Po Chu and Mo Chu.

Taktsang Gompa
An essential pilgrimage climb will take your breath away; the sight will give it back! It is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the Bhutan. A tourist attraction that will actually feel worth it. The trek to monastery will start you with stunning views and give you knowledge about rich Bhutanese culture and history. The monastery clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro valley. Taktsang is one of the most famous attraction in Paro especially among the tourist visiting Bhutan. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike.
Kyichu Lhakhang
This is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. This temple dates back to 7th century built by Tibetan king Songsten Gampo. legends believe that the temple was built on the left foot of the giant demon who was preventing the spread of Buddhism in the Himalayan region. The temple has many relics and is a must visit temple while you are at Paro.

5.00I highly recommend this 7-day itinerary, which is operated by a reputable and trustworthy company. As a senior traveling solo, I found both the guide, Suraj Rai, and the driver, Woezer, to be incredibly friendly and attentive; furthermore, they managed the pace of the tour perfectly. Both of them speak fluent English. Moreover, the guide was highly knowledgeable, offering detailed explanations that covered not only local culture, religion, and history, but even botany and zoology. Whenever I had a need, they were always willing to "go the extra mile." This trip to Bhutan left me with beautiful, everlasting memories.

5.00The trip was excellent. Bhutan is a beautiful place. Our Guide Ms Namgay, was very good, pleasant, knowledgeable and very patient. She explained every site that we visited very minutely and with dedication and showed a lot of interest in explaining to us. She was never tired or took shortcuts. Our vehicle was nice and the driver, Mr Sonam was an expert and drove very cautiously and efficiently. He was also willing to stop anywhere we wanted. He was also patient and dedicated. In all, the Guide Ms Namgay and Driver Sonam were a beautiful combination that made our trip very pleasant, enjoyable and filled us with detailed knowledge of Bhutan. A special mention of thanks to the efficient representative of Omsha Travel, Mr Nawang Dorgi, who coordinated with Maam Lalita, my sister in law, who was arranging the trip, throughout, and updated us with the trip details from time to time. The people of Bhutan all speak English and are loving, peaceful and honest. The food was also pleasant. The hotel we stayed was Star Residency which was clean and well kept and handled by efficient staff. Admission fee: 11000/- Length of visit: 9 days Atmosphere: very pleasant and peaceful

5.00Myself and my son had the opportunity to be in Bhutan for8days arranged through the heavenly bhutan travels.thankful to them for arranging it efficiently and hassle-free. the guide Mr.jigme Tshering(Jau) Tshering and the driver Mr Kumar rai were excellent,always punctual ,very co-operative, caring and extremely friendly. 5.00Me and my wife have fantastic 7-day tour with Heavenly Bhutan Travels (HBT). Ms Serijana has helped to arrange variations of a 7-day travel itinerary so well to accommodate all our key sightseeing. On arrival at Paro airport Mr Hemaraj (our guide) and Mr Jigmee (our driver) has welcomed us with traditional Bhutanese style which make so proud. Mr Hemraj’s knowledge of Bhutanese culture and history is really impressive – he patiently explained all of this to us in detail over the course of the 7-days. Mr Jigmee ensured that our journey through difficult Bhutanese roads was safe – the drives (albeit long) were comfortable due to his careful and skilled driving. Throughout the 7-days, Mr Hemraj and Mr Jigmee were incredibly hospitable and helpful, always looking out for our needs and going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. We also like to give special thanks to Mr Hemraj & Mr Jigmee who has arranged my 30th anniversary so special and memorable which we never forget in our rest of life. 5.00We had a marvellous time with our friendly guide, Jigmé, and driver, Phub. The highlight was Taktsang cave, and the hot stone baths and farmhouse meal. We felt cared for, listened to, and they accommodated our changing needs gracefully and efficiently. Jigmé was knowledgeable, and loved his King and country. Phub is a gentle and skilful driver. Shiva planned our tour and we enjoyed lunch at the Heavenly Bhutan offices. We are grateful for so much love, skill, and care. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a wonderful Bhutan trip, and a big part of that experience was thanks to our guide Ram and driver Sonam. Ram was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to explain the culture, history, and traditions in a very engaging way. He paced the itinerary well, ensured we were comfortable at every step, and was especially supportive during the Tiger’s Nest hike — never rushing us and always encouraging us at the right moments. Sonam was equally fantastic — a very skilled and safe driver, which is so important on Bhutan’s mountain roads. His calm and friendly nature made all our long drives very comfortable and stress-free. Both of them were punctual, courteous, and genuinely cared about making our trip smooth and enjoyable. We are very grateful to have had such a great team with us and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a Bhutan trip.

5.00My husband & I had the best time in Bhutan!!! Beautiful scenery, lovely people, delicious food and impeccable hospitality. Mingma patiently helped me plan the vacation, even after I had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency and rescheduled everything. Hats off to our driver Pasang for navigating the mountain roads so seamlessly. Lastly, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Sajan. He is hands down amazing, fun, thoughtful, knowledgeable….Heavenly Bhutan is a very reliable company.
