Visit the only place in the world that the Amish and Mennonite communities come to vacation en masse and learn about their culture with your tour guide. On this tour, the goal is to create a “bridge of understanding” about these wonderfully unique and close-knit communities. You will learn about the history of their religious beliefs, values, traditions and practices of daily life. Visit Pinecraft, where 500+ Amish and Mennonite families live year-round and where 5,000+ return each season from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana to vacation. Enjoy stops at Alma Sue’s Quilt Shop, The Carlisle Inn and Der Dutchman for shopping and a delicious pie shooter! Gain a new appreciation of the rich culture on this Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence-rated tour. *During April there may be variations of the tour because typically many of our Amish tourists have returned home, therefore we may visit a local Amish furniture maker to learn about carpentry and its importance to their culture.

5.00What a surprise, how informative and fun the tour was! Loved Kendra has a tour guide, as she has connections to the community and had tremendous insights. Especially loved going into the community and seeing the activity, as well as the tour of the Carlisle Inn. We learned how to distinguish Amish from different states, as well as learned about their culture and how they are distinguished from the menonites, also residing there. Fascinating tour, well worth the money.
So interesting and fun!

5.00The tour was great from beginning to end. Our tour guide, Kendra and driver Tom were the ultimate hosts. We learned so much more about the Amish culture than we expected. Kendra shared heartwarming and personal experiences that drew you in and helped to further understand and appreciate the Amish traditions and way of life. We are so happy that we took this tour. Definitely a highlight of our visit to Sarasota. Thank you so much.

5.00Excellent tour. Guide very knowledgeable about Amish culture. Stops were very good. One was a quilt shop so not everyone 's cup of tea but brief stop. We went back afterwards to two of the places.

5.00Nineteen of us enjoyed this very interesting tour yesterday. Our trolley driver was excellent, and Kendra, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and kept us entertained with fascinating stories. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you allow some time to explore the gift shop inside the tour's office building.

5.00This trolley tour with Kendra was SO enjoyable we are planning to go again next season! We had such a nice group of people to be with and especially enjoyed seeing and learning about the hotel. Such a treat that we plan to stay there soon! We love the Amish ways and enjoy many of the fun and meaningful fiction books written about the Amish communities. Kendra was extremely knowledgeable, answered many questions, and gave us a fabulous history lesson. Kendra's personal story telling was very touching as well. Looking forward to going again, as well as trying some of the other tours.
