Cycle through Holland’s breathtaking landscapes on our Windmills E-Bike Tour from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schans. Begin by heading north through the serene Twiske nature reserve, riding past tranquil dikes and picturesque canals under iconic Dutch skies. Experience charming green houses along the route as your guide shares stories of local heritage.
As you arrive at Zaanse Schans, enjoy an incredible view of historic windmills rising across the water. Here, explore the heritage village on foot, where you’ll discover working windmills, a cheese farm, clog workshops, and museums that showcase traditional Dutch crafts. On the return, we’ll stop in Zaandam to capture photos of the unique InnTel Hotel with its striking, fairytale-like architecture. A final ferry brings you back to Amsterdam, completing a true Dutch countryside experience.

5.00It was great to get out of the city to see real windmill, clog makers, cheese tasting and little villages and towns and see what North Amsterdam is like. Evie was lovely caring for us through the pouring rain (only some of the time) the E bikes made the 40k really easy

5.00This is a great cycle through some small towns and back to Amsterdam. It can get chilly, so make sure you bring warm clothing in layers plus rain gear. Our guide was very good and we got a special bonus on the way back into town! The E-bikes worked well.

5.00Rafa was a wonderful guide! We enjoyed his commentary along the way. Best part of the trip was our surprise stop at a working windmill and visit with the miller.

5.00We relied on Mike's Tours to organize a bike ride for our 18 students. The company proved to be extremely reliable and the choice apt in all respects. Upon our arrival all the bikes were ready, the pre-established route allowed us to stop and admire a landscape totally different from the Citradino one: fields, canals, mills, parks,... all on cycle paths thanks to which we could enjoy pedaling away from cars and in total safety. Huw and Ginerva were amazing guides and thought of everything, even to amaze us with a snack and climbing on the blades of a mill. A huge thank you from us and all our students who were settled by the beauty of the Dutch countryside!

5.00Shakira did a fantastic tour of the countryside! It was the right pace for a large group. The length was perfect and we enjoyed the cheese making tour and clog maker demonstration. The bikes were in super condition. I highly recommend this tour and Shakira as a guide!

5.00This was a really fun trip! We covered a lot of distance and the EBikes made it so easy. Our tour guide Sébastien was friendly, patient and had so many fun and interesting facts to share. Highly recommend!
