I joined the Secret Food Tours Amsterdam today with Jolanda and I have to say this is one of the best Secret Food Tours I’ve ever done (and I’ve done a few) Not only the food was amazing, Jolanda wrapped it up with fascinating and engaging facts about Amsterdam and the Netherlands, one would never learn on its own. All the other guests were so in awe with the experience we were all commenting that. If i ever return to Amsterdam I will do it again, and I hope I have Jolanda as a guide. Book this tour now!

Amsterdam was our 4th tour with Secret Food Tours and they never disappoint. The food was varied and delicious, even as a fussy eater, I absolutely loved everthing. Our guide, Mike, was brilliant, he was passionate and knowlegeable about Dutch food and history. Very friedly and easy to talk to, it felt like meeting someone we already knew. Cannot recommend enough!

Nola dad gave a very nice tour. She knew a lot of history about how the food came to be making it all so interesting. We were in the Jordan area.

Holly was an excellent guide, and very knowledgeable about the area and the local eateries we visited. We do food tours in every city we visit to get the local fare down before venturing on our own. Great guide, and great food!

We booked a public tour, but we were the only ones in it. There was supposed to be another couple, but even though our guide Mike made every effort to contact and wait for them, they didn't show up. Mike, an Englishman who has lived in the Netherlands for over 25 years, was our "private" guide. He did a great job at connecting Amsterdam's history with it's food. We made 6 stops at various establishments around the Jordaan neighborhood. They were all small local restaurants that we would have likely not visited on our own. Even though all the portions were small, we were completely full at the end of our 3 hours together. After the tour, he shared the list of all the places we visited along with other recommendations to try while we are here. We have taken Secret Food Tours around the world, and this tour with Mike didn't dissapoint.
