Our delicious story will be told in the natural reserve where the FONDA FISH GARDEN is situated and your adventure will be finished with a bite of raw Fonda Sea Bass, a pinch of Piran fleur de sel, a splash of Istrian olive oil and a glass of Malvasia wine.

An unexpected surprise. We had a fantastic introduction to the Fonda fish farm which is really more like a fish garden. The information provided was fascinating and we learned so much. Plus we had the opportunity to take a boat out to see the gardens. They are amazing! And we also had a lovely wine and snack at the end. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend this experience.

visiting fonda fish farm is something you really shouldn’t skip if visiting the seaside of Slovenia. the owner gave us a tour around the marine and fish pools and it was very informative. you could see that she was talking with great passion for fish and sea, especially sea conservation, sustainability, and biodiversity. and make sure to do the fish and wine tasting, because everything was delicious. overall, a very special experience!!

Totally recommend to visit this sustainable Fish Farm in Slovenia where you will see how growing sea bass, learn interesting information about all fish farming process with boat that would take you from marine. After that you will have degustation with wine and small canapés. Great to visit not only for group of friends but also for families.

The tour was excellent. It was very informative and entertaining. The staff and our tour guide was very friendly and welcoming. Our bout ride was pleasant as we went there on a sunny day. After showing us the sea bass, they surprised us with the dehydration of sea bass carpaccio and bakala which were amazing. The quality really shows the importance of this way of farming and bio friendly mindset that Fonda family are known for. To summon up I’d recommend this tour to families with kids as it could really be a fun and educational time spending for everyone involved. Also would recommend it to everyone who want to support and learn more about our plans and the marine life.
