Baga
8.30am - Where else but in Europe can you visit three countries in one day? Three different countries, three distinctly different atmospheres, stunning drives, and breathtaking scenery. Depart from Barcelona at 7am, and relax during the scenic journey to Bagà. You will have the chance to marvel at the majestic rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixeró National Park as we drive to Bagà. In Bagà, as this sleepy village comes to life, you can get a fresh pastry or sandwich in the local bakery, or a coffee in one of the many typical cafes, before rejoining your guide who will give you a short walking tour of the village before leaving you free time to explore alone. From Bagà, we will head deeper into the countryside as we drive towards the French border.

What a marvelous day! I continue to be impressed with the quality of the guides sourced through this service, and Sergio was among the best so far! Today exactly what we wanted: real people, in real places, doing everyday things, led by someone that understands all of that, plus all the fascinating details along the way. The personal attention from Sergio was above and beyond. There may be those in Barcelona that don't want tourists around, but we've never felt more welcome anywhere. Compliments all around!

The trip was great and our guide, Berta, was very good. It was a full day. If I did it again, I’d choose to skip the stop in France (timing was off - restaurants weren’t open yet and there wasn’t a ton to see) and simply have more time in Andorra (which was fantastic).

Long journey, definitely exhausting, but worth it for those who want to get a taste of each region in northern Spain/southern France. Mountain landscapes are beautiful

Our day trip to Andorra was truly beautiful and offered a refreshing change of scenery from the city. The landscapes were breathtaking, with stunning views of the Pyrenees, charming mountain villages, and clean alpine air that made the journey feel like a hidden gem well worth discovering. Our tour guide, Bertha, was fantastic—professional, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. She struck just the right balance between providing insightful historical and cultural information while allowing time to soak in the views and enjoy the experience without feeling overwhelmed. Her commentary was well-paced, and her genuine passion for the region enhanced the trip immensely. However, there are a few caveats to note for future travelers. The road to Andorra includes numerous high-altitude switchbacks and tight mountain turns. Unfortunately, our bus driver maintained a brisk pace throughout the winding drive, which caused motion sickness for several passengers. If you’re prone to car sickness, be sure to take motion relief medication in advance or come prepared with ginger candies or wristbands. All in all, this was a memorable and scenic excursion, perfect for those looking to explore a less-traveled European destination. Just be mindful of the drive—and perhaps sit near the front of the bus if you’re sensitive to motion.
