We offer half day Indonesian cooking classes. MONDAY TO Sunday Classes consist of a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 12 people.
Cooking Class Schedule :
Daily 11:00 or 16:30
Experience the different flavor of “Indonesian cuisine” and learn about the local products.
From spicy local “Lombok food” with hot chilies and herbs to the sweetness of Javanese food made with fresh coconut milk, palm sugar and peanuts. Discover the unique flavors and fruity sourness of lime, lemongrass and tamarind.
A sample of dishes see below:
– Sate Ayam ( Chicken Satay )
– Perkedel Jagung ( Corn Fritters )
– Pepes Ikan ( Fish in Banana Leaf )
– Lombok Kari ( Curry Chicken, Fish or Veggies )
– Lombok Soto Ayam ( Chicken Soto )
– Cumi Balado ( Spicy Squid )
– Dadar Gulung ( Rolled Pancake )
– Kue Bugis Mandi

5.00As a solo traveller I was made to feel very welcome and I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed the day. All staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Can’t wait to try out the recipes they gave us when I get home, thankyou!

5.00Anggrek putih Lombok cooking class & garden tour ,is pioneer cooking class, tour starting with welcome drink made with flowers and spices , we crop vegetables from the garden,we picked our spices from the dry storage and then we started cooking,food, staff, management is another level, number #1 on TripAdvisor #1 on Google activity you must do if you visit, beware the copy cats,they provide free transport,our hotel was in mangsit holiday resort. Thank you kris for your hospitality

5.00This experience was amazing when in Lombok you need to take home a cooking experience. This was excellent if you are single, couples or even a big group it was very informative and her garden was impressive.

5.00fun and authentic cooking class experience we had an amazing time at amggrek putih cooking class. the experience was very authentic, hands-on, and well organized from start to finish. the instructors were friendly, patient, and explained everything clearly, making it easy to follow even for beginners. we learned how to prepare traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients, and the food we cooked was absolutely delicious. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it felt like cooking with family rather than just attending a class. ask to make chicken redang highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn local cuisine and enjoy a memorable cultural experience. definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00What a wonderful hidden experience. We cannot fault Salma and the crew who helped us experience a wonderful lunch. We came in on cruise ship, arranged for the driver to pick us up from Lembar port and then went to cooking school. The garden tour was interesting, the cooking process was enjoyable and overall it was fabulous. Plenty of options, and way too much food. The ability to purchase a Bintag with lunch was a lovely bones.
