Angkor Wat
We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.30 to 4.40 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.

5.00Amazing Angkor Wat sunrise tour! The temples were absolutely stunning and the whole experience was really well organised. Our guide Chhay was friendly and knowledgeable, making the history easy to understand and interesting. It never felt rushed, and seeing Angkor Wat in person was unforgettable. Definitely a must-do if you’re in Siem Reap.

5.00What a magical, bucket list experience that would not have been the same without John (and Mr. Polo). John guided us seamlessly through every step from the best seats in the house for the sunrise to giving us a wealth of information about the temples. And can we talk about his photography skills?! My mouth literally dropped open with the first snap. And full bonus was the cold water and wet cloths waiting for us in the vehicle! Don’t delay. Book today!

5.00The guide, Chaay, was knowledgeable and helpful. He answered a lot of question from the group on various topics. The answers were clear and helped us understand the history of Cambodia. He as ver lu friendly and approachable. The whole trip was well organised and the trip was totally worthwhile even though we could have a mosquito sleep the night before.

5.00Highlight of my trip to Siem Reap. Sak and Dara were amazing guides. Sak was very knowledge and friendly. Cannot recommend this tour enough! Make sure to get tickets online beforehand to save time to get to a good spot at Angkor Wat for sunrise pictures.

5.00We did a private early morning sunrise visit of Angkor Wat, which continues on to Ta Phrom and then the Bayon. The sunrise at Angkor Wat was fantastic - it is incredibly beautiful (the sky was clear) and our guide - Setha - took us to different places for photos. It is so worth the very early start - fantastic light and perfect temperatures. During this tour we also got to see Ta Phrom - such a peaceful place completely taken over by nature - and the Bayon. Our guide Setha knows everything there is to know about the history and the temples. We can definitely recommend this tour!
