Bayon Temple
Der Bayon-Tempel ist einer der bekanntesten Tempel in Angkor. Er befindet sich im Zentrum von Angkor Thom, der Hauptstadt. Angkor Thom war die letzte Stadt des mächtigen Khmer-Reiches. Der Tempel stammt aus dem 12. bis 13. Jahrhundert. Er ist berühmt für seine Gesichter-Türme und kunstvollen Reliefs. Die Reliefs zeigen historische Ereignisse, Schlachten und das alltägliche Leben. Der Bayon symbolisiert königliche Macht und religiöse Bedeutung gleichzeitig. Er gilt als Meisterwerk der klassischen Khmer-Architektur. 5.00We had a perfect day in Angkor Wat. Our tour guide Bross has tried very hard to offer us an unforgettable experience. He took such great pictures of us and showed us the most beautiful places. He also took into account what time it is best where. Through his humorous nature it was a very nice experience that we can only highly recommend!!!
