During this tour we visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on the ATV’s for about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation “La Azotea” located in city of Jocotenango. Once at La Azotea, you will receive a bilingual tour of the plantation where you are able to learn and see the various processes of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes into serving a good cup of coffee. The coffee tour in the plantation lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around the plantation with the local guide to see check out the plants and you could also grab a drink or snack. Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antigua’s most well-known and visited landmarks. After getting a close-up bird’s eye view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head back to our office.

Finca La Azotea
We visit a local coffee plantation located in the nearby city of Jocotenango. From the office you will follow a local guide on about a 15 minute ride to the coffee plantation La Azotea. Once at La Azotea you will receive a in depth bilingual tour from the plantations guide, you will be able to see various process of the coffee producing, making, and packaging that goes to serve a good cup of JOE. The coffee tour lasts about 1 hour once finished you will walk around with our local guide.
Cerro de la Cruz
Once finished at the plantation you will hop back on the ATVs and head over to "El Cerro de la Cruz" to visit one of Antiguas most well known and visited landmarks. Getting here is easier than taking the hundreds of steps, and we enjoy a bird's eye view of the colonial city.

5.00It was a great expirance, but I will say they have you ride in the main road . Those Guatemalan streets aren't a joke. So dont be afraid to be a little aggressive when driving.

5.00I had a perfect afternoon with JP! I was very lucky to be the only one on the tour so we took all the time t cruise around on the ATVs. He took me to the viewpoint Cerro de la Cruz where he gave me some information about the city of Antigua. Afterwards we took a quick detour up the mountains and the view with the afternoon sun was absolutely breathtaking! Afterwards we drove to the coffee farm where he himself gave me the tour and I learned so much about coffee and the production! And as a surprise there was also a quick teaching about cocoa. During the whole day he took pictures of me and in general he made me feel very safe on the ATV since it was my first time and he was very patient explaining me everything not only once. All in all a 10/10 recommendation!!! :)

5.00Great tour, Fabrizio was super knowledgeable about everything from the history of Guatemala to the entire coffee lifecycle! Since it was just me on the tour also, he switched to Spanish for the most part to help me practice (which I asked for), and he was able to translate words to English when I couldn’t understand! Also ATVing around was really fun

5.00We booked our ATV tour last min and are so happy we decided to go! We had a mix of 60 yr olds and 30 yr olds and everyone was happy. If you are trying to cover some ground on a travel day this perfect. The ATVs were a great way to see town, Cerro de La Cruz, and a coffee farm in just a few hours. The coffee tour also has a chocolate portion at the end that we weren’t expecting. Our guide Johnny was amazing!

5.00Awesome coffee ATV TOURRRR! We ended up with a group of 5 ladies and it was like a girls day out with friends from all over! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable on the history of everything there is to know about Guatemala! It was the perfect length of time. We weren’t interested in climbing volcanoes but wanted to do something outdoorsy. We love ATVs, coffee and chocolate! Lol perfect day activity! It gets hot so wear sunscreen and bring bug spray. We did the 3 hour tour and it ended up being about 3.5 hours total. It was the perfect touch to visiting Antigua!

5.00Had an awesome time on this tour! Way more ATV time than we expected, you actually drive thru Antigua and the adjacent towns to get to the coffee farm and Cerro de la Cruz. Learned a lot, enjoyed a beautiful day, tried some Guatemalan coffee. Would definitely recommend and will be looking into the ATV tour to Pacaya with the same company next time we come to Antigua :)

5.00This activity was so much fun! I'm not a huge adventurer, but once I got a hang of the ATV it was exhilarating. Beautiful views, fantastic coffee tour. Small group with a wonderful guide.

5.00I had a great time with this tour. Eric was very helpful and passionate about his work. I did not had any experience driving the ATV before, and even though we were driving during the Christmas Festival traffic, Eric made sure we were safe, followed him, and provided great directions. The experience at the coffee plantation was very interesting and educational. I suggest bringing bug spray as there are multiple mosquitoes there, and would recommend for the staff to add this into the activity description. Overall, the activity was very fun and worth the money.
