This tour offers a leisure walk around Antigua good for orientation or overview. It's an excellent narrative by licenced guide focusing on its cultural interest. This walk allows you to appreciate interesting facts about the most important monuments .You will explore the main square including cathedral (restored part / panoramic views of ruins) , the old university (3rd founded in the continent, City Hall Palace, panoramic views of The General's Captains Palace, Walk the main streets and have some panoramic views of the arch of Saint Catherine. Continue with the church of La Merced, walk to Casa Santo Domingo to end with an optional visit of the famous Jade Museum and factory.

5.00I really enjoyed this walking tour of Antigua. It offered a well‑paced and engaging overview of the city’s history, culture and politics, with plenty of interesting context that helped me appreciate the places we visited. The guide shared lots of thoughtful recommendations for food, drinks and shopping, which I found incredibly useful for planning the rest of my time in the city. I also appreciated the suggestions for museums and art galleries—there’s clearly so much creativity and heritage to explore here, and the tour pointed me toward places I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Overall, it was a great way to get to know Antigua and feel more confident navigating everything it has to offer. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

4.00Coming from a solo traveler who just arrived in Antigua I was hoping this tour would help me to get to know the city better. Be aware: this is a very in depth history tour! Our guide was good, but he’d often stand in the same place for 30 minutes going into extreme details of the history of one building. I had to ask him twice if we could move on and walk around. God forbid you ask a question, the reply would be so long for a pretty simple answer. As a tourist I do appreciate the history, but this was too in depth and at times a little boring. We could have done and seen sooo much in these 3 hours. The last 20 minutes they drop you at a jade jewelry shop for the standard sales pitch and the guide left. If you love history this tour is for you, if you want to walk around Antigua, just go yourself.

5.00I had an excellent tour with Roberto, it felt like I was being shown around Antigua by an old friend, he gave me an excellent insight into the history of the town and took me into many interesting locations I would never have thought of visiting myself. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00My tour guide Roberto was energetic, knowledgeable, and very funny. Not only did he take me around to the important sights in Antigua, he talked about the history of the area, from ancient Mayan times to the present. We ere able to go on several private buildings and onto a few rooftop decks to experience incredible views of the surrounding volcanoes. I was very satisfied with this tour and would recommend it to anyone.

5.00Three hour tour, (actually three and a half), tons of information on the early history of Antigua. Also Mayan culture. At a great pace. Always considerate of the group. So informative. Felix was an excellent guide, thank you Felix!

5.00Felix gave us an excellent intro to central Antigua including the significant history, some of which was documented on the palace building (now a museum). We also went into the cathedral, heard about the catacombs and concluded the tour at the Santa Catalina Arch. Since it was our first full day in Antigua we were also interested in recommendations for other things to see and restaurant suggestions. Felix was helpful with both.

5.00Felix was excellent! He is so knowledgeable in Antigua’s history and world history in general. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to know more about Antigua and Guatemalan history, while hitting all the must see spots in town.
