This tour offers a leisure walk around Antigua good for orientation or overview. It's an excellent narrative by licenced guide focusing on its cultural interest. This walk allows you to appreciate interesting facts about the most important monuments .You will explore the main square including cathedral (restored part / panoramic views of ruins) , the old university (3rd founded in the continent, City Hall Palace, panoramic views of The General's Captains Palace, Walk the main streets and have some panoramic views of the arch of Saint Catherine. Continue with the church of La Merced, walk to Casa Santo Domingo to end with an optional visit of the famous Jade Museum and factory.

Guide was disjointed there was no continuity to the tour. We walked past places of interest and he had to be asked what it was.

My guide was Roberto. We did go to several places, but we didn't go to Iglesia de la Merced or Santa Domingo museums as advertised. There were a few places to sit at the beginning of the tour, but not after that. You are walking and standing on cobblestone streets so keep that in mind.
