Antigua, the capital of the Captaincy-General of Guatemala is located in Guatemala , just 225 km from Salvador City. This Historical- Colonial city was founded in the early 16th century. Built 1,500 m above sea-level, in an earthquake-prone region, it was largely destroyed by an earthquake in 1773 but its principal monuments are still preserved as ruins. In the space of under three centuries the city, which was built on a grid pattern inspired by the Italian Renaissance, acquired a number of superb monuments. Antigua Guatemala was the cultural, economic, religious, political and educational center for the entire region until the capital was moved. 1.00Do not sign up for this excursion. As they will cancel very last minute. I planned my trip around this event for them to cancel last minute with no real reason was very disheartening

5.00The chauffeur guide Josué Romero is one of those who mark you forever for his excellence seriousness and profession of guide .Excellent chauffeur while still young.I admire the tour and recommend it completely.The experience was of the best and I have already 45 known countries.Go and see nature history passion and calidsd in general.

5.00I went with my mom from Argentina and it was an amazing tour, our designated driver, Gabriela very friendly and friendly, and our guide in Guatemala, Manuel a genius! The only thing to note is that it is very far, about 5 and a half hours out and the same back. The time on site is barely 3 or 4 hours at most but taking that out, the rest great!

5.00lots of driving!!!! Gabi was and excellent guide and a driver for just two of us. Antigua is worth visiting but 15 hr tour with 12 hrs in the car might be much -so you gave an option of overnight stay . you caoud also add visit to vulcano great experience overall
