5.00I’m so pleased that I took this tour. Each stop we visited taught me something new about Guatemalan culture. Axel was an excellent guide, he made the experience so interesting, and fun too! After three weeks in Guatemala I can say that this tour was a real highlight of my trip. I recommend to anyone who wants to go a bit deeper to experience the real Guatemala and its people.

5.00The B1 experience was friendly, funny, and I learnt and saw a lot in a short period of time. The ride was comfortable, I was the only one on the tour but felt safe and was never awkward. Would love to learn about jade as well in San Pedro!

5.00Super attentive guide, friendly, knows very well the local culture. It was the best experience I had in Antigua. I didn't buy embroidery without first visiting the charming embroidery shop we visited.

5.00We really enjoyed it! Our guide was very informative and very polite. We visited four villages, real villages with small plazas and churches and friendly people! I strongly recommend this tour if you want to see the real Guatemala and to escape from the noisy Antigua.

5.00My guide - Axel - was terrific. While we drove around he not only shared the history of the towns we visited and Guatemela history but he also gave me some great advice on how to interact with the locals in the market, at the grocery store, etc. that really enhanced my experience. I ended up returning to two of the places he took me on the tour (San Juanera in San Juan del Obispo & the Looming School in San Antonio Aguas Calientes) because I enjoyed them so much. This tour is well worth the price and the time. Definitely recommend.

5.00I had a lovely morning with Axel and can definitely recommend his tour! As it turns out, I was the only person on the tour, and enjoyed spending time with Axel learning about Guatemalan people and culture. I felt like I had a chance to see what day-to-day life is like for people living in the towns around Antigua. I enjoyed the weaving, Jade and coffee stops, and didn’t feel pressure to purchase anything. I also volunteered my services helping the women washing clothes in the communal, town, facilities, and got a great appreciation for how hard it is! Don’t expect to be visiting small villages - these are towns fairly close to Antigua.
