  We went on a day with Saranga on the bike through Anuradhapura. It was the best day of our vacation. We got fine bikes that matched our height well (1.82 and 1.95m). Saranga took us through the rice fields to temples, along a beautiful lake and told us a lot about Buddhism along the way. After a super nice day we finally ate at a local restaurant where mothers from the neighborhood cooked the food. Very nice and tasty. Because we had such a wonderful day with Saranga, we asked him if he would like to go with us on the local bus to Mihintale the next day. He liked that. It was again a great experience. Mihintale is a large and beautiful Buddhist complex where there is much to see. Saranga knew his way around very well and told a lot about its history. There is a small museum that is very worth visiting. The trip by local bus was also quite an experience. Afterwards we ate at a local restaurant. We were allowed to take a look in the kitchen and then chose from a buffet all kinds of tasty dishes. It was two unforgettable days with a beautiful human being. Thank you Saranga!   What a great experience to go on the road with Saranga. Super sweet man and really has a lot to tell about the ruins and Buddhism. Bikes were very good, the location was a bit harder to find. But one phone call and it was settled. We had a great time!

  He was an amazing guide! Showed us very nice and non touristic places and gave us a nice tour through the rice fields. We ended with a lunch with local food, so nice! Would definitely recommend it.

  I had the best time biking around ancient Anarudpura. It's a fun and easy way to cover a lot of distance. The bike was very comfy to do the tour. The guide was the best, he has a lot of knowledge and was happy to talk me trough the aspects of budism. I can highly recommend this bike tour!

  I took a bicycle tour with famous guide Saranga in Anuradhnapura. I tell you it was incredible. The about 10km long tour takes about 4 hours and starts from Mr. Sarangas rental place, where I got equipped with a super comfortable modern Mountain bike. On the way to the ancient City, we stopped to have some yummy fresh coconuts – a fantastic experience… Saranga took me to all the most famous places in the ancient city of Anuradhapura , like the holy Bodhi tree, Ruwanweli Maha Seya Stupa, Thuparamaya Temple and many other wonderful places. Saranga has not only an extremely broad expertise about the historic places in Anuradhapura, he´s also deeply rooted in the culture of Buddhism and if you are lucky, he will tell you some heart touching stories about Buddha, and Buddhistic live. This tour was absolutely fantastic, is highly recommendable and easy to do for everyone. Next day Saranga even offered me to take me to the beautiful Tempel of nearby Mihintale. Also a wonderful, religious place with a great view of the area. Highly recommendable! THANK YOU SARANGA for the wonderful, unforgettable time and impressions

  We can not recommend Saranga and its towers enough. Without him, our visit to Anuradhapura would have been much less valuable. He is competent, attentive, accommodating, and it is very nice to spend time with him. The whole family has a great memory. I recommend with my eyes closed.
