This trip starts early. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds if you decide to not join us last-minute, for example because you’re tired.
As long as conditions are safe, we take this trip in any weather. Possible rain and snow are part of an authentic Norwegian experience. Please dress appropriately.

After picking you up at the bus terminal, we leave Tromsø behind us and visit Kvaløya (“Whale Island”), where we visit some of the most beautiful landmarks that make Tromsø one of Norway’s most popular destinations.
Tromso Fjords
We often see reindeer and elk crossing the road, sometimes we can spot sea eagles and seals hunting for fish. From mid October to late January whales visit Tromsø’s fjords to feed on herring. During that time there is a good chance we will spot humpback whales and orcas from the shore.

5.00We had the best time on this beautiful tour of Norway’s Arctic scenery. The fjords, mountains and beaches are just so gorgeous. They make plenty of stops, so you don’t feel like you are on the bus for a long time. The guides Marius and Ivana shared a lot of interesting information about the locations we visited and were just such lovely people! A big thank you to the driver Karol who is truly amazing, driving us through Arctic conditions safely. The fire and food at the end is such a nice way to finish the tour before heading back to Tromsø’s city centre. We highly recommend this tour with Chasing Lights!

5.00We had a fantastic time on our Arctic fjords trip with Bailey. He’s incredibly experienced and has an amazing eye — he spotted reindeer and sea eagles from far away, giving us the chance to see these wild animals up close in their natural environment. Bailey is also a wonderful photographer and captured so many beautiful photos for us to remember the trip by （attached some lovely photos that Bailey took）. On top of that, he shared lots of interesting knowledge about Norway and the fjords, and his warm, outgoing personality — plus his fun stories — made the day even more special. We really enjoyed this journey with Bailey and highly recommend him!

5.00The tour was excellent, very punctual, organized tuff and breathtaking landscapes. Small group, all calm, no running. The guide, Owen, is exceptional. He has a lot of knowledge of what he does, explained everything with a lot of clarity and lightness, conducted the tours with a lot of attention and care, in addition to being of unusual sympathy and taking beautiful photos! I definitely recommend note 10!!

5.00The tour was exceptional. The guide Jefta was the maximum and our driver was also unbeatable and both managed that we had a very quiet trip (snowed a lot) and very, very interesting. I highly recommend this company

5.00Our fjords road trip was absolutely unforgettable. Yafta was incredibly friendly, warm, and made us feel like we had known him forever. His energy and professionalism truly elevated the whole experience, and he even captured amazing photos of us with his professional camera. Patrick’s driving was perfect—smooth, safe, and confident—making the entire journey relaxing and enjoyable. Both of them went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better this guys . Highly recommended!

5.00Our guide, Bailey, and driver, Patrick, made this trip unforgettable. Bailey reminded us that life is about the journey, not just the destination—and this adventure truly embodied that. From trudging through knee-deep snow to running on icy roads with the sunset behind us, and lying by the sea with snacks in hand, it was a true core memory. Patrick kept us safe throughout, and his sharp eyes even helped us spot wildlife along the way. Photos below were taken by Bailey, AMAZING!!!

5.00Despite some challenging weather, Owen and Patrick gave an amazing tour. We had a great time learning about and seeing the beautiful fjords and beaches, as well as having a campfire lunch. We also enjoyed Patrick’s music taste :)

4.00Had a good time seeing places around Tromso. The Lunch was the freeze dried salmon rice which did not live up to the expectation.
