Discover scenic landscapes, impressive fjords and Arctic wildlife. Join us on this day trip to discover Tromsø’s beautiful surroundings in our modern and comfortable minibus, perfect for nature sightseeing.

From lush green landscapes in summer, to colorful trees and sunsets in autumn, to snow capped mountains and frozen beaches in winter, Northern Norway’s nature offers stunning landscapes that will will leave you speechless.

One toilet stop is usually included, but sometimes we have to use the “nature toilet“

This trip starts early. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds if you decide to not join us last-minute, for example because you’re tired.

As long as conditions are safe, we take this trip in any weather. Possible rain and snow are part of an authentic Norwegian experience. Please dress appropriately.

After picking you up at the bus terminal, we leave Tromsø behind us and visit Kvaløya (“Whale Island”), where we visit some of the most beautiful landmarks that make Tromsø one of Norway’s most popular destinations.

Tromso Fjords

We often see reindeer and elk crossing the road, sometimes we can spot sea eagles and seals hunting for fish. From mid October to late January whales visit Tromsø’s fjords to feed on herring. During that time there is a good chance we will spot humpback whales and orcas from the shore.

Despite some challenging weather, Owen and Patrick gave an amazing tour. We had a great time learning about and seeing the beautiful fjords and beaches, as well as having a campfire lunch. We also enjoyed Patrick’s music taste :)

Had a good time seeing places around Tromso. The Lunch was the freeze dried salmon rice which did not live up to the expectation.

We loved every minute of this trip, and it was a real highlight of our stay in Tromsø. Jefta and Patryk took us to see some amazing sights, and had a lot of interesting information and stories to share. I’m still in awe of all the beautiful things we saw, just incredible.

Had a lovely trip guided by Meda, Bailey and Patrick. Absolute stars they were. They attended to each passenger as much as possible. The little picnic by the fjord was such a nice touch.

Everything about the trip was absolutely amazing! Meda and Patryk took us to some of the most breathtaking locations we have ever seen. Meda was very friendly and made sure that everyone felt comfortable on the trip. She took some stunning pictures for us as well. We had a delicious lunch with some hot juice at a very beautiful beach in front of a fire. Thank you so much Meda, Patryk, and the whole Chasing Lights team for making our northern Norway trip so memorable! 😊❤️

The best experience! David and Patrick were the greatest at showing us such an amazing time on the tour. David, the tour guide, was great at taking pics for us. The meal, dessert, and warm juice over the fire will always be a memorable experience. Thank you!
