Arenal volcano is considered the most active and step volcano in Costa Rica since 1968 and one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Since 2012 is a dorment volcano without eruption activity. Zip line tour: Started zip line above the three-tops. This tour consist in 3 kilometers or 2 miles route of 12 stations and 13 platforms. Longest cable reach 450 meters, highest point 60 meters. Tour duration: 1.5 hours After zip line tour we are ready to try a delicious typical lunch costarrican food. Horseback Riding tour: Finish lunch horses take you 8 kilometers (5 miles) trough amazing trails into rainforest where probably you could observe some species of animals like toucans, monkeys. Tour duration: 1.5 hours IMPORTANT NOTE: Zip line and horseback tour is not allowed for pregnant women or persons with heart problems, back problems or recent surgeries Minimum age to do zip line tour are 6 years old Minimum age to do horseback riding tour are 6 years old Maximum weight to do zip line are 250 pounds

5.00We had a great experience with Wilmer our excursion guide. He was careful driving. He was very patient as we were a group of 12 plus a baby. He guided us on how to climb down and up the rocks to the waterfall. He took our group pictures for us with no hesitation. Although we bought our own towels he got extra ones just in case we needed them. At the end of the excursion, my nephew left his Fitbit watch in the van and when I contacted Wilmer he responded immediately. They were able to find the watch and return it to the resort.
