This tour walks you through this worldwide unique Arganforest and you learn about the eco-system Argan. You visit the best conserved sugar fabric from the time of the Saadiens from the 16th century. You will get an insight into a Berber home, we are welcomed for a traditional tea ceremony at a local family. On out way back we will stop at an artisanal Argan oil production to see from A to Z how this oil is produced by hand by the women.

It was very good. Maybe a little long for our child. Great guide and family. I don’t know why I was asked for a 10€ tip at the end without even leaving me the choice that’s the only negative.

We had a wonderful tour through the Argan Forest. The children could ride on donkeys, we learned a lot about land and people and had lunch with a very nice family.

This “leadership” impresses us so positively that we share our experience here: We had Naima as a guide and a level-headed driver. Purely from an organizational point of view, everything worked out very well. To the content: Naima let us share her very extensive knowledge with a natural self-evidentness in conversation form, without even a moment the impression of a lecture or a list of points to be wound up. She answered all the questions with great care and continued to elaborate on the topics in excellent English. For us, the tour was also an introduction to Morocco as a country with insights into current social and economic developments.

Beautiful walk to discover the argan forest in the countryside of Essaouira. The difficulty was suitable for children with regular stops to discover places, the culture of the argan tree, the ruins of a former 16th century candy factory and the surrounding wildlife. And for the tired moments, Claudia had planned a donkey on which they could climb to rest while continuing our hike. Stopping at a Berber family and an argan oil cooperative was also an opportunity to share with the locals and for the children to test the different stages of production and discover a traditional meal. Claudia has a very good contact with the children and was able to answer all our questions. A real pleasure and great memories for all! I recommend.

superb morning among the argan trees to enjoy the area. not a succession of mini car stops, everything is well thought out, fluid. good balance between walking time (not difficult), historical side with visit to an old candy, cultural aspects with discovery of a marabout, break time in a family for tea and explanations production argan oil to a small cooperative of women. Claudia gave us many explanations and knew how to answer all our questions. we highly recommend trusting Berberlands to discover the surroundings of Essaouira
