This is a walking tour, there will be approximately 2 miles of walking and inclines and stairs. Please plan accordingly.

Meeting Address: 1 Memorial Ave, Fort Myer, VA 22211, USA Please meet your guide just outside the Welcome Center on the Arlington Cemetery side after you pass through security, next to the benches on the West side.
Your reserved time is the tour start/departure time. All tours depart promptly on time and are unable to wait for late arrivals. Guests should arrive 20 minutes before tour time to pass through security and check in.

5.00I had an outstanding, enjoyable, and extremely informative tour with Meg from Unscripted Tours (through Viator). She asked what I was most interested in, and we walked and talked for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. In addition to the "big" sites (Tomb of the Unknown / Changing of the Guard, Memorial Ampitheater), we saw lots of Memorials (Space Shuttles Columbia and Challenger, Civil War Unknowns, USS Maine, Battle of the Bulge, Glenn Miller, War Correspondents, USS Thresher...) and many specific grave sites (Kennedy Family, President Taft, Joe Louis, 6 or 8 Supreme Court Justices, Audie Murphy, Pierre L'Enfant, Claire Chennault, Montgomery Meigs, Jimmy Dolittle, Lee Marvin...). Meg had a great number of fun, interesting, and insightful comments and stories on the history and design of the cemetery and the specific sights. I learned a great deal! I had expressed interest in walking over to the Marine Corps Memorial, so she organized our tour such that we ended on that side of the grounds. It was an excellent experience, very worthwhile, and it was all I had hoped for. I heartily recommend it.

5.00The early morning tour was very cold, but it didn’t matter because we so enjoyed our trip with Skye. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to accommodate our thirst for knowledge. We would recommend her tour to anyone interested in knowing many of the details about our national history as a matter of fact we will definitely be contacting her when we return to the area. Thank you, Skye for a great tour!

5.00Meg was great, it was raining and cold but she was super pleasant and a wealth of knowledge, she was not in a rush she took her time despite the rain she made sure the tour was great, I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family who travel to DC.

My siblings and I took this tour to better prepare for and understand my father’s internment at Arlington the following day, and it made a meaningful difference. We learned so much, and it added depth and context to an already emotional experience. We were very grateful to have taken the tour in advance. 5.00This was a somber experience and historically enlightening for the entire family. We were there in the morning in December so we bundled up. Did a lot of walking around the grounds with a 10 & 6 yr old, right at their limits. Our guide Derrick was Great. He made sure to highlight the history of our war vets, all while ensuring we paid the utmost respect. Would highly recommend.
