  The Asado Adventure was just that and more. Through food and art Frank has created an experience that allows you to be immersed in Argentina's culture in a way that no other run of the mill tour could possibly offer. We enjoyed every moment of our adventure. The food was outstanding. We were not just served the food but participated in its preparation and learned its history. Frank also provided us with a photo album of our afternoon that exceeded anything we could have put together on our own. A lovely surprise thrown into all of this was a wine tasting at Sommelier en Bicicleta, a beautiful wine shop with a fantastic selection of Argentinian wines and cheeses. If you love food, wine, culture and history this is definitely a not to be missed experience.

  What a special tour - it's a must do if you're in Buenos Aires! Our family and friends have a wide variety of interests and culinary preferences. Frank was able to help us all enjoy the delights of Asado whilst also stretching us to enjoy the Argentinian culture properly. His knowledge and passion for the Palermo neighbourhood history, art and people was infectious and we really immersed ourselves in the half day experience for small groups. Value for money and unforgettable. Go, enjoy and tell your friends!

  We enjoyed a fun, intimate and informative day with our friendly host and guide, Frank. We learned a lot about Argentina's history, the colorful Palermo Viejo neighborhood, wine, and dining Asado style. We participated in preparing the asado grill and making the chimmichirri sauce. The grill master served up different cuts of meat course by course complemented with Argentine wine. Our delicious meal concluded with the making and drinking of traditional mate. We all left with full bellies and a cute penguin wine pitcher gift. But the tour didn't end there. The next day, Frank was kind enough to follow-up with answers and resources to our questions, a detailed summary of our day, and photos of our tour and dinner. This was a great way to enjoy a day in Buenos Aires!

  If you visit Buenos Aires treat yourself to Frank Almeida’s Asado Adventure and Street Art Tour. Frank is a charming host who welcomes you into his amazing home and then guides you through a hands on experience of preparing the chimichurri and lighting the fire in the outdoor grill. While waiting for the fire to build Frank took us on a walking tour through his neighborhood of Palermo, telling us about its history, artwork, and community, and how it interweaves with politics and economic fluctuations. Along the way we went shopping for groceries and stopped for a wine tasting at a small local wine shop. Back at the house we were greeted by Frank’s friendly cat and dog and we met the grill master who had been tending the fire and cooking our meats and vegetables. What followed was a heartwarming parade of food perfectly cooked and paired with fabulous wines. We finished with traditionally prepared mate’ heated with coals from the fire.   This was probably one of the best experiences we have done, I wasn’t too sure what to expect when we rocked up to Franks white doors. But From the moment we entered his lovely house and back yard I knew we were in for a treat. Frank was funny, knowledgeable and has truly thought about the content of this fun day. From prepping the food to lighting the grill we were all engaged, we listened to his stories of the local area and enjoyed immensely the wine tasting. The food we had was beautifully cooked and it gave us an insight into what a family and friends asado would be like. The little gifts we left with were a nice touch. I would highly recommend this day to anyone, it truly was a fantastic experience and one Frank and his team should be proud of. If I ever come back to Buenos Aires we would defo visit Frank again.

  Superb day with Frank and team at Asado day, a wealth of local knowledge, history and general information and insight into the city and country. The food was absolutely wonderful, who knew it could be this good! Frank was a fabulous host, his home is beautiful and we all had the most amazing day together. The wine tasting experience was also a terrific experience and we tasted wines that were beautiful. Highly recommend this day, it really was a top highlight of my time in Argentina.

  Thank you Franks for a truly memorable day experiencing the famous Asado and touring around Palermo Viejo. We didn’t really know what to expect but from the moment you greeted us at the entrance to your stunning home, we loved every moment of this ‘adventure’. There was something special about spending time in a home setting, including meeting your pets! From helping start up the BBQ to tasting traditional cocktails and Mata herbal tea, we were thrilled to add these experiences to our South American memories. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for the vibrant and trendy neighbourhood with its meaningful street art, plus the stop for a wine tasting provided the perfect interlude before heading back home to taste the large variety of food cooked on the asado. We can highly recommend this experience and tour as an absolute must if you’re wanting to understand why asado is such an important part of Argentinian culture.
